They had decimated many monsters, but more vile entities kept appearing. At one point, the Demon Lord Lotus appeared and started attacking the miners and heroes. The heroes were running out of breath, but luckily Teoritta arrived just in time. She defeated several enemies with her power and gave the heroes a much needed reprieve. The Demon Lord Lotus also let out a shrill sound that caused tinnitus among the heroes as the miners lost consciousness and started walking towards the creature. Only Tatsuya was unaffected by the noise, so Xylo decided to support him from afar. Tatsuya was eventually successful in destroying the body, but it was soon revealed to be a fake.

Norgalle had to make a great sacrifice

Subsequently, Norgalle decided to take matters into his own hands and unleashed a massive wave of fire to burn the Demon Lord's pendants. However, his leg was caught and he was hung upside down. It was all coming to an end for the heroes and the miners, but Norgalle refused to give up. When he learned that the actual body of the Demon Lord was beneath him, he began to slash his trapped leg. When Norgalle was finally free, he sliced through the Demon Lord's main body with his blade, saving everyone else in the process.

Sentenced To Be A Hero Episode 4 will be released on January 29, 2026. The episode has a title “Standby Order: Muurid Stronghold.” Despite the incredible victory, the heroes won't get much time to rest. Instead, they might end up in the Muurid fortress. Given the pace of the anime, it seems like Episode 4 won't be long and drawn out. Plus, fans can expect more action.

In Episode 4 of Sentenced To Be A Hero, Xylo and Teoritta may have to go defend a Muurid fortress somewhere in the kingdom. Norgalle will not be part of the quest after losing his leg in the battle against the Demon Lord. Instead, Xylo will be accompanied by Venetim Leopool. The episode may be action-packed, but viewers will want to see some progress in terms of the overall story. It would be ideal if the new episode gave viewers more insight into the lives of Xyl and the other heroes.

Kivia is a character that fans should watch out for as she has proven herself to be unlike the top brass. When the priest threatened to have the heroes reprimanded, it was Kivia who decided to step in and save them, making it clear that she is not morally corrupt. After seeing Xylo save the miners and reunite them with their families, it's possible that Kivia's perception of him is finally starting to change. If that happens, Kivia could help Xyl clear his name and expose the people behind the plot to take him down.
