Massive spoilers ahead Send.
Send is now available on the original Switch and Switch 2, and it's been making quite a splash on the platform—albeit not for the right reasons. The game's strange censorship has ensured that its launch has not gone smoothly, with players frustrated that explicit content has been removed from the game with no way to turn it back on. According to AdHoc, this was done because of Nintendo's family-friendly values, although fans were quick to criticize Nintendo because games with as much adult content – such as Cyberpunk 2077 — did not receive the same level of censorship. Having blacked-out middle fingers, nudity, and so on in an adult-oriented game is weird, but still, I'm sure some new players will try Send for the first time on their Nintendo Switch. Here are the most popular decisions for these players Sendthe biggest election.
The following information is based on recent playthrough results screens and year-end data shared by AdHoc on social media.
Post: Popular romance options
According to the data, the most popular options related to romance are as follows:
- Kiss Blonde Blazer (Episode 1)
- Don't Try To Go With The Blonde Blazer On Her Date (Episode 2)
- Date Invisigal (Episode 4)
- Keep Invisigal on the Team (Episode 7)
- Forgive Invisigal (Episode 7)
- Return the Invisigal's Kiss (Episode 7)
- Trust Invisigal and Untie Her (Episode 8)
- End up With Invisigal (Episode 8)
The most heated debate between Send the playerbase differed as of release as to whether Blonde Blazer or Invisigal was the “best girl in the game”. While both of these romance options are valid for Robert, as players can make him a tougher anti-hero to match the Invisigal, or a by-the-book hero that makes sense as a partner for Blazer, one of the two characters is undeniably more popular. According to AdHoc data for 2025, 1.9 million players fell in love with Invisigal, compared to Blazer's 1 million followers. With almost double the number of fans, Invisigal is clearly the most popular love in the game, and there are probably several reasons for that:
-
Blazer's early relationship with Phenomaman complicates things and could push players away from her.
-
Invisigal is more open and direct with her interest in Robert, which includes a very revealing scene at the beginning of episode 4 that may have won over some players.
-
Invisigal is a more “important” character to the story because she is constantly involved in the plot and the biggest impact players can have on their choices is turning her into a hero or villain.
-
AdHoc has openly admitted that it may have shown too much favoritism to Invisigal, with Blazer regularly taking a background role.
There are a few specific travel options for these romantic options that stand out. While the vast majority of players respect Blazer's wishes and don't join her breakup with Phenomaman, 54% of players kissed Blazer on a billboard in episode 1. However, a portion of that 54% clearly bought into Invisigal's advances, humor, and hidden subtlety, as only 37% of players ended up dating Blazer in episode 34%. Speaking of Invisigal, most players risked low morale to keep her on the Z-Team (69% saved her from being chopped), while 72% forgave her for destroying Robert's suit, and 87% trusted her in the finale. A staggering 78% of players kissed her back in episode 7, explaining how so many ended up with her (or ended up complicating their relationship with Blazer).
Dispatch: Popular picks regarding the Z-Team
According to the data, the most popular options involving the Z-Team are as follows:
- Cut Coupe (Episode 3)
- Recruit Waterboy (Episode 4)
- Tell the Z-Team You're Mecha Man (Episode 5)
As for Robert's associates and friends, three main possibilities are worth noting. First, there's someone to lower, a choice that definitely supports the preservation of Sonar. Maybe it's because of its memorable character design, the existing fan base of voice actor MoistCr1TiKaL, or Sonar's ability to essentially be two characters in one, but 2.8 million players ditched Coupe compared to 1.6 million who fired Sonar. Maybe the players were just trying to keep Malevola happy since she's a fan favorite who happens to be close to man-bat while Coupe has a bond with Punch-Up. Regardless, it's a significant difference.
Next up is the tightest contest in the entire game as it comes down to recruiting Phenomaman or Waterboy. There's a lot of love for the depressed alien and the awkward janitor, which explains how there's currently a 3% gap between the two, with Waterboy slightly more popular at 53%. According to year-end Adhoc data, 2.3 million gave Waterboy his first shot, while 2 million gave Phenomaman a second chance. Not only are both characters likable, but they have noticeable flaws in terms of gameplay, with Waterboy being drastically underpowered when he first joins and Phenomaman's depressing mechanic regularly keeping him out of the fight. Next up is whether the players were honest with the Z-Team after the bar battle in episode 5, a choice that turns out to be easy for most. 84% of players told the truth about Robert's past, which makes sense since many players will connect with the villain list at this point.
The vast majority of players will forgive the character they cut from the team at the end Send final, no matter who it was.
Dispatch: Shroud Popular Choices
According to the data, the most popular Shroud options are:
- Give Shroud Both Astral Pulses (Episode 8)
- Spare Shroud (Episode 8)
Choices regarding SendExploring the Shroud villain is fun. Although the ability to predict almost everything makes Robert's enemy a significant threat, it seems that most players have realized that the smartest way to deal with him is to do something so strange that he would never expect it. 61% fooled the Shroud by giving it a fake and real astral pulse. Since it will make players give up on the fake if they try to outright freak him out, this is the best way to draw one out on the man who killed Robert's father. However, his fate is very balanced between these three results.
In most games, the Shroud ends up dead because the players fail to provide the Invisigal with proper mentoring, resulting in him slitting the Shroud's throat and taking away Robert's opportunity to decide the villain's fate. While it's possible to make Invisigal a hero and still love Blazer, most players who chase the latter become so fiercely loyal to Blazer that they accidentally push Invisigal away in the process. Invisigal feeling neglected and rejecting the darker path happens in 32% of games, while 31% of players made Invisigal a hero but still killed the Shroud themselves. Whatever their reasoning – whether the Shroud killed the previous Mecha Man, threatened Beef, injured the Invisigal, or destroyed the city – 63% of community games end up with the Shroud dead. While more players seem to choose to save him when given the choice (37%), it's hard to say which one is more popular because Invisigal complicates things.
It will be interesting to see how SendNintendo players can handle many of the game's options and if this data matches what most new players do. Invisigal will probably always remain the more popular love interest, but there's room to shift the dates a bit for choices like Phenoman vs. Waterboys that were always close. Whenever Send Season 2 is coming, hopefully offering just as many memorable choices regarding Robert and the Z-Team.
