How to fix Josee's Fading Bond (Josee Quest Guide) in Code Vein 2
The first thing players need to understand about Josee's fading bond recovery is that it is not available right from the start. Another thing to keep in mind is completion Jose's request to find the spice in the past free exploration is completely different and unrelated to her dying bond. However, completing Josee's request will give you a key to access the locked gate in Mountain underground facility.
Your main goal after defeating Jose will be to get to the undead forest. It is here that you need to find the heroine Holly and release her cocoon, just like you did with Josee.
Once you've completed the Undead Forest main story segment, you'll also find Holly's weakening bond. Completion is required to access Josee's volume because you need the Undead Forest item which is only available after Holly's vanishing bond is complete. You will need to find the two remnants of Camillo and get to the sanatorium, where you will fight a powerful boss, and this will change the past and change the Undead Forest.
Once the past is changed in the Undead Forest, make your way to the sanatorium again and you can fight Hero Holly again, but this last step is not necessary to establish Josee's bond.
Instead, you can go into the building and grab yourself Lisa's Hair Ornament from the table. This will trigger several memory interactions that Lise had with Holly, after which you can go back to Josee's Outpost and interact with the bond.
After interacting with him, you will go back to the past where you have to go to the base and help Josee fight the enemies. Once you survive the danger, a cutscene will play Gobboand you will be forced to return to the present. Your next objective is to find Josee's sister in Sunken City.
Fast travel to Hill overlooking the clock tower and go southeast towards the tower to see a girl outside on the ground. Talk to her and she will give it to you Hideout keywhich you can use to open Underground shelter in the tower and find Lisa.
After that, go back to the base detention and go to the past for another cutscene with Gobb. Once Gobbo leaves, you will have to the way to Bureau Castlewhich is located northwest of Sunken City. This location, which was currently inaccessible, will now have two enemies outside that you must deal with before facing Gobba and Oscar inside.
Now you will be fighting both of them at the same time. The second phase of this fight can be extremely difficult, mainly because of Gobba's attacks that apply Luna Rapaciscausing you to be unable to heal or get help from your partner.
