How to unlock the dog care hobby in Heartopia and adopt a dog
To unlock the Dog Grooming hobby, you must first reach DG level 12. The fastest way to do this is to complete the five resident applications that you receive each day. If you stay consistent, you should reach level 12 in about a week or two. Once you reach Developer Guild level 12, you'll need to visit Ms. Joan, the Pet Care Mentor found in the Adoption Center.
The Caring for Dogs hobby first requires players to purchase the Caring for Cats hobby. We've included a helpful guide above to walk you through the Cat Grooming hobby, so once you've completed it, you can return to Mrs. Joan and exchange the Hobby Expansion Ticket for the Dog Grooming hobby, which will unlock dogs for adoption.
There are 3 dogs available for adoption each day, but if you are not happy with the breeds available, you can come back the next day for a new selection.

How to increase bond with dog in Heartopia
Feeding your dog is a quick way to increase your bond. Dogs get hungry pretty quickly when they're running and playing, so you'll need to feed them several times a day. Walk up to your dog and tap the bowl icon to feed it. You can buy dog food from Mrs. Joan's Shopbut dogs will also eat some mushrooms and even some cooked foods if you are running out of food.
You can too increase your dog's bond through training. Tap on paw icon and start by selecting Train. Your dog will perform an action and you will have to react correctly. For additional bonding, brush your dog, take him for walks and interact with him.
