Final Fantasy 14 is getting a series of Nendoroid action figures, marking the first time a classic JRPG has released toys under the Nendoroid line. In addition to three designs based on some of the most popular NPCs around Final Fantasy 14the series will also nod to two icons from the very first game.
Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy 14in particular, they have had no shortage of goods issued in recent years. This is likely to increase further with the arrival Final Fantasy 14 The 2026 Fanfests, which will be held in three different locations throughout the year, herald the future Final Fantasy 14 and its next expansion pack with all that entails.

Final Fantasy is getting its first Nendoroids
Now it has been revealed that Square Enix and Good Smile have teamed up to create five different ones Final Fantasy Nendoroid designs. Suggestions include Final Fantasy 14 Descendants of Y'shtol Rhul and G'raha Tia, as well as Azure Dragoon Estinien. All three are depicted in their latest outfits in the game and will also feature their signature weapons. At this time there are suggestions for Final Fantasy 14 The Nendoroids were not finished, only placeholder images were shared. As the image shows, fans should expect a “chibi” style figure, as Nendoroids almost always have miniaturized proportions with larger heads, similar to Funko Pop or Figuarts Mini. Nendoroid figures generally have several movable joints and other parts that can be swapped out to change the character's facial expression, what they are holding, and so on. However, possible additions have not yet been revealed.
Moreover, the very first Final Fantasy it's also getting a pair of its own Nendoroid figures, both of which will likely arrive before the MMORPG trio. These include the original Warrior of Light, who is pictured holding his sword in two different poses, and the iconic Chocobo, who is depicted in three separate poses, including standing with wings down and head tilted to the side, two wings up and feet apart, and one Chocobo stepping and waving.
Currently, only Warrior of Light has a pre-order announcement, and fans can expect to place their orders in March 2026. Chocobo probably won't be too far behind, given that he already has a completed prototype, but Final Fantasy 14 characters can be gone for long periods of time. No pricing information or release date has been announced for any of these figures yet, but Nendoroids usually cost less than $100.
Final Fantasy fans are excited about Nendoroids
So far, the community seems very excited about the new Nendoroid announcement, especially among Final Fantasy 14 players. Many fans said they are waiting for the first moment they can put down money to pre-order the trio, while others are hoping the remaining Scions and other important characters can get the same treatment. Some popular requests include those of fellow Scion Thancred and some of the game's biggest villains, namely those who appeared in Final Fantasy 14 Stormblood and Shadowbringers expansions.
A lot in general Final Fantasy fanbase expressed their excitement that the franchise is finally getting Nendoroids. While the series has seen a lot of figures and toys in the past, Good Smile's Nendoroid and Figma figures in particular are quite popular among collectors for their mobility and attention to detail in recreating the character's design in physical form. Whether it leads to more Nendoroids or Figmas Final Fantasy remains to be seen, but if they sell well, it's more likely to happen.
