One of the new additions in Yakuza Kiwami 3 is a Bad Boy Dragon story where you meet the Hasai Girls and become their patriarch. You will be introduced to this content at the end of Chapter 2 as part of the main story.
An important part of this series of quests is the recruitment of Baddies, new members of your party. There are several ways you can find new members. Below we take a look at the best villains you can recruit early in Yakuza Kiwami 3 and what you need to do to find them.
All of the following Baddies can be recruited in Downtown Ryukyu before completing Chapter 2.
Haruko-san
- Energy: 2,200
- Attack: 490
- Defense: 540
- Finisher: Megaton Smash
On the northeast side of Hatsumachi Streetnear the entrance to the Baddies hideout, you will have a Baddies battle available. Defeat the enemies with your squad and you will be able to recruit Haruko-San. Can heal allies.
If this or any of the Baddie battles don't start right away, you'll need to finish the ones available to you first.

In case you didn't know, every city in Yakuza/Like a Dragon is based on a real city. Here are some of our favorite spots in them.
Captain Akane
- Energy: 2,120
- Attack: 490
- Defense: 1,070
- Finisher: Hot-blooded Homer
Captain Akane's support can also be found after completing the Baddies battle. This one will be held on East Ryukyu Boulevardnear the Poppo convenience store. It has the lowest difficulty level so it shouldn't be too bad.
Erika Novacek
- Energy: 1,780
- Attack: 890
- Defense: 670
- Finisher: Huge kick
There's nothing special about Erika, but you'll need to recruit some Baddies to progress the story, and you can recruit her by talking to her – no fights. It is located on the southwest side of the city, on Yushibin Street.
Housekeeper Mitako
- Energy: 1,890
- Attack: 670
- Defense: 440
- Finisher: Turbo wash
This is one of the first Silver Baddies you'll be able to recruit and is behind the Baddies battle, which is a bit more difficult than the others. You can find Housekeeper Mitako at South Kubochi Road, next to Inari Bridge.
Her overall stats may look worse than previous Baddies, but her Finisher can deal damage and stun multiple enemies at once.
Teruya
- Energy: 1,780
- Attack: 1,070
- Defense: 580
- Finisher: A punishing dance
After completing the sub-stories you can recruit certain villains and one of the first ones you can get is Teruyo. This feisty old lady is locked behind a series of three sub-stories: Excuse me!, Excuse me again! and Well, excuse me!
When you complete the last one, you'll automatically recruit her. These missions will take place at a crossroads between Hatsumachi Street and Inari Street, Hatsumachiand you will have to finish one by one.
Look for the dialog icon on the map to know where the substory is near you.
Yoza
- Energy: 1,960
- Attack: 890
- Defense: 670
- Finisher: Cyclone Punch
After recruiting ten Baddies and going to your hideout with the leader Tsubasa, you will be able to participate in Turf Wars, which are large-scale battles against other gangs. The first available is Islander defense platoonand at the end of it you will recruit Yoza.
If you don't see this or any of the following events, you may need to increase your Infamy rating first.
Sakura
- Energy: 1,780
- Attack: 1,070
- Defense: 580
- Finisher: Dancing Venus
Tsubasa's longtime friend and rival becomes a powerful member of your gang if you finish him off the first Total Annihilation, Operation: Rescue Sakura. It will be a bit different from your regular Turf Wars as it will be a big battle in just one big arena.
Sakura is the first golden villain you can recruit!
Dawg Boy
- Energy: 1,780
- Attack: 890
- Defense: 670
- Finisher: Blade Rider of Romance
After rescuing Sakura and joining forces with Ryukyu Venus, you'll be able to challenge one of the other Big Three gangs: the Bullet Boyz. His boss, Dawg Boi, will one day become a member of your gang complete Turf War, The Big Three: Bullet Boyz — you will need to prepare four platoons for this.
Shuto The Elder & Shuto The Younger
- Energy: 1,780/2,430
- Attack: 1070/670
- Defense: 760/890
- Finisher: Fujin's Fist/Rajin's Spear
The brothers from the rest of the Big Three gang are a great duo to have in any squad as they combine great offensive and defensive stats. Plus, they're both Golden Baddies. To recruit them, you will have to complete Turf War, The Big Three: Hard Knock Academy.
This will be the last part of the Baddies story available at this point in the main story.
Mai Kiryuin
- Energy: 1,890
- Attack: 490
- Defense: 540
- Finisher: A healing melody
While she is Bronze, you will want to have Mai Kiryuin in any of your squads due to her ability that heals your teammates. Mai is available at the crossroads between Ryukyu Boulevard and Ryukyu Central Highwaybut you won't be able to invite her until Your gang's infamy rank is 3. Therefore, you should leave it for the end before starting Chapter 3.
