30th anniversary Pokemon franchise is getting closer and closer, and all eyes are on what Game Freak and The Pokemon Company have in store for the future of the series. Although nothing has been officially confirmed, the massive TeraLeak Pokemon information that has surfaced over the past year suggests that Gen 10 is a milestone in the series, reportedly named Pokemon wind and wave. Much has been leaked about the new region Wind and wavewhich is said to be an island region based on Indonesia, but few details have been made clear about the Gen 10 Pokedex.
More recently, details of the wider region Pokemon wind and wave appeared, including the different locations players can visit, the types of gyms they will face, and the new “Majin” combat mechanic. This gives players a good idea of what to expect from Gen 10 games, even if it's not official yet. However, despite the lack of concrete information about the Gen 10 Pokedex, several images have leaked that include what appear to be returning creatures that players may encounter. A recent leak detailed the types for most of Pokemon Wind and Wave's main battles, making it clear which types the game is saving for its Elite Four.
The Pokemon escaped to be so far away in the wind and waves
Most of the information leaked about Pokemon wind and wave comes from TeraLeak data that included ongoing builds of upcoming games such as Wind and wave. This information was shared on X by CentroLeaks, but should still be taken with a grain of salt, as things may have changed during Gen 10 development. Until Pokemon officially reveals the new games and their Pokedex, these leaks should still be considered unconfirmed.

Some of the first leaked Pokemon for Gen 10 appeared even earlier Wind and wave the titles became familiar. This leak, posted by HiddenPowerPod on X, showed an image of Aron and Lairon in a screenshot of what is said to be a Gen 10 battle system build in progress. The post went on to detail that the original leaker also mentioned seeing Butterfree and Charjabug in the test build.
Several Gen 1 Pokemon have also been leaked, including several instances of Charizard that appeared in screenshots of development screens shared by CentroLeaks. Along with Charizard, Pikachu and Machamp have also appeared, reportedly getting reworked models in Pokemon wind and wave. It would be very strange if PokemonThe Pikachu mascot wasn't in the Gen 10 games, but it's nice to know that other popular Gen 1 critters are making a return as well.
Rotom was revealed to be included via the game's bike replacement, the Rotom Scooter. Lucario has also been seen in several development screenshots, so it's highly likely that the Gen 4 Fighting/Steel type will return to some extent. Sandygast and Mudsdale are also two Gen 7 mons that appeared in leaked development screenshots, but it's unclear if these are placeholders or if these mons are actually planned to return in Gen 10.
Shinx and Gyarados are the other creatures that appear in what appears to be a screenshot of an early Gen 10 battle system, so it's possible they won't make it into the final game. There is also a video shared by CentroLeaks that shows Dondozo, Luvdisc and Lumineon in an ocean biome. These shots appear to be designed to show off the Gen 10 water physics, but are still likely an early build of the game.
A new Pokémon is coming to Gen 10's Wind and Wave
There haven't been many leaks about the arrival of the new Gen 10 Pokemon Wind and waveand those that have appeared are only descriptions. One new creature is described as a seed Pokémon that the player receives at the start of the game and can evolve into almost infinite variations depending on how the player takes care of it along the way. While the actual designs of the Gen 10 starters themselves have not been revealed, the method of obtaining them reportedly involves capturing one to break the traffic jam the starters cause in the starting city the player arrives at at the start of the game.

How the Pokemon Wind and Wave Region Escape Map Could Affect the Gen 10 Pokedex
Much of what was shown or described in them Pokemon wind and wave The leaks so far sound awfully familiar to the types of creatures players can encounter Pokemon Sun and MoonThe Alola region back in Gen 7. Seeing mons like Charjabug, Sandygast, and Mudsdale, some of Alola's most iconic creatures, it looks like Gen 10 will be aiming for a similar feel with its Pokedex. There are also areas with leaked names that indicate that certain Pokémon will appear even if the escapers haven't seen them. For example, one island is said to contain a place called Woobat Cave, so it's likely that Woobat will be found there. Another area is called the Anthill Fieldlands, which could indicate that it's home to a creature like Durant or the rumored new Anti-inspired Pokémon.
Plus there will almost certainly be a lot of water Pokemon wind and waveas players are said to island hop on their adventures. The presence of water Pokemon like Dondozo, Luvdisc, and Lumineon is probably just the tip of the iceberg. Pokemon Sun and Moon he had nearly 60 water-type species in his Pokedex. With over 1000 creatures now in the franchise, Wind and wave may have a tough time getting that number down for their Pokedex, but until fans get their hands on the full games, these leaks will have to paint a picture of what to expect when Gen 10 finally launches.
