CrossWorlds fan added Kid Goku to the list

With all the dozens and dozens of Dragon Ball games out there, from RPGs to fighters, if there's one genre missing, it's a racing game. After all, how cool would it be if Kid Goku and Piccolo (Driving School) race around Kame House?

Well, thanks to one fan, we're just a little bit closer, thanks to this Kid Goku mod for last year's surprisingly good racer, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Goku, Goku fits like a glove given the mass number of crossover characters that already exist in CrossWorlds.

As first shared on social media, Goku replaces AiAi's Super Monkey Ball. He rides a Flying Nimbus and there's even some music to help bring the experience full circle.

The mod you'll find on GameBanana is more than a simple overlay or character replacement. For example, the horn is the Dragon Radar ping sound, and the Super Monkey Ball festival has since been completely replaced with a Dragon Ball theme.

Like we said, a lot of effort has gone into this and it shows.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is better than Mario Kart World, but that doesn't change anything

Mario Kart is a juggernaut that will remain unchallenged no matter how good its competitors are.

In the end, Goku fits like a glove, not only because he's awesome (no bias), but also because CrossWorlds is such a fever dream, as well as the fact that it's not that crazy to think he could be official DLC one day.

CrossWorlds is truly a place for IP address crossovers, whether they make sense or not

One look at the roster for CrossWorlds and the planned DLC list and you'd be forgiven for thinking it's a fan-made creation. Except it isn't. It's 100 percent real life.

Because in addition to Sonic and his goofy friends, there's SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, plus Steve and Alex from Minecraft, as well as Pac-Man, Mega Man and Proto Man on the paid side. Then on the free side is Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona 5, Ichiban from the Yakuza/Like franchise and Dragon, NiGHTS and the aforementioned AiAi.

So look at that list and tell me that Kid Goku and the Flying Nimbus isn't an A-plus addition. You can't. Until then, we'll have to make do with community building.
