How to get to James Stevenson's Penthouse in High On Life 2

Once you get through the prologue High On Life 2you'll find that your main objective revolves around defeating several members of the Rhea Foundation so that you can weaken them and prevent people from losing the lawsuit. As you do, you'll come across the bounty of James Stevenson, who is the company's financial wizard.

This will be one of your hardest rewards in the game, as it involves a constant series of puzzles and combat challenges. To defeat James Stevenson, you must first find a way to get into his shelter, and then go through a whole new world with a little helper.

How to get to James Stevenson's Penthouse

After you trigger James Stevenson's bounty, you must first get to Arcadia and use the tracker to get to his shelter, where you will be denied entry. Exit the shelter and you will see a giant truck nearby. Use Travis and Jan's levitate ability to send this truck upand then you can use the mattress nearby to jump onto it.

Beyond this point, use your skateboard and tracker to follow the path until you get stuck in an area again. In this area, when you use the trace option, you'll see a large structure highlight in the middle. From here, you will need to activate these structures move beyond certain areas.

At the first structure, you can jump onto the shed between the benches near the highlighted structure and then press the button above it to activate the bridge. You can start the next puzzle by hitting the green flower high up in the area, which will open a door nearby. Go through this door, activate the switch on the right and then use the blob in the left room to get higher. Use Sweezy's ability to slow down the fan here and get through, allowing you to cross the bridge.

In the next area, activate the nearby platform and then use it Gus' ability on the wall nearby with orange spots. This will allow you to get further up and into the last puzzle you have to solve before reaching James Stevenson's shelter.

You can start in this area by slowing down the fan on the right and taking the blob inside. Give this blob by the wall where you can see a small window with goop all around it the one above. Then shoot the structure in the middle until the two blue cells are both on the right side.

Finally, pull out the Sheath and use its ability to connect the generator starting point to the two cells and then to the blob. Finally, you have to jump onto the blob and hit the flower inside to activate the last point of this relay. This will open the door below where you can activate two bridges and use them to reach the shelter.

What to do in James Stevenson's Penthouse?

In James' penthouse, the main puzzle revolves around the two giant paintings you see in the area. However, if you want some extra tradition, you can head to on the right side of the room and interact with the phone on the table. Once you've done that, you'll need to head inside the two paintings and get a book from each.

You can simply bump into the images and be teleported. Here's what you need to do in them:

  • One image takes you to the washroom where you can easily pick up the book from the shelf nearby and go back outside. You can also open the locked door and come back right after to get the easter egg.

  • For the second painting, you have to wait for the dialogue to end, and then you can pick up the book on the main table.

Once you have both books, put them on the shelf to the right of the fireplace and you'll find a third painting that will take you to the main area for this reward.

After you pass the last painting, follow the straight path until you hit a dark cave and keep going forward. You will reach the area where you will have to defeat a few enemies and free a little friend. Once you defeat the enemies, you can ask Apples about various battle lore and he will then help you through the maze.

When you're done with the dialogue, the apples will be placed next to the dark exit you should go through. again, keep forward once you enter the dark part. The correct order of exits after this is as follows:

Then you can use the blob to get to the higher platform on the right where you'll find a Luglox and then jump over. Once again, to get over the waterfall, you'll need to slow down the falling logs.

Continue around this area and defeat the enemies and slowing down the logs every time you go past the waterfall. When you're higher up, you'll also need to use Sheath's ability to get over one section of the waterfall, followed by Gus' ability in the orange area go further up.

Once you get through all the fights, you'll finally get to the town where the guards will be to stop you and tell you that apples are bad apples. You can choose any option here, but if you choose to trust the Apples instead, it can help you later in this story, as well as the final reward.
