Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynchronized Reveal Online window leaks

The past few weeks have not been kind to Ubisoft employees, as employees eventually went on strike to shut down the studio, cancel video games, and return to the office for five days. For some fans, the silver lining (if you can call it that) is that Remake of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is said to still be in development if subject to an unknown delay. Now, a new report hints at when fans will see her.

It is worth noting that the remake, allegedly the so-called Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-syncedsurvived a massive wave of disruption in society. Perhaps this is due to fan demand and assumed quality, but a few more did not survive. Although not directly confirmed in all cases, the canceled games include Ubisoft Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake, Project Aether, Project Pathfinder, Project Crest, Assassin's Creed Singularity (code designation) a Assassin's Creed Rebellion (a mobile game where Ubisoft reportedly canceled all future support plans).

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will reportedly be revealed in April

It remains to be seen how the dust settles after the strikes and employee impact, but at least some Ubisoft developers are still hard at work Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced. Insider Gaming's Mike Straw said on the outlet's weekly podcast that it is still in development, allaying fears, and said it will be revealed sometime in April 2026. His report coincides with noted insider Shinobi602, who said that Black flag the remake wouldn't be in the recent state of the game, but the reveal would be sooner rather than later. April fits nicely into this window.

Of course, while both Straw and Shinobi are well-known figures with a proven track record, such claims should be taken with a grain of salt. Anything could be a game changer to delay this reveal, or it could be that the insiders and/or their unknown sources are wrong. Still, with everything going on around the game and Ubisoft, April makes sense.

Ubisoft still hasn't officially confirmed that a remake is even in development. However, it is essentially the company's worst-kept secret Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced has been the subject of many rumors and leaks, although some sources are more reliable than others. That said, Ubisoft has taken certain actions that have given many rumors and leaks credibility.

For example, when Edward Kenway actor Matt Ryan teased a fan in June 2025 that a remake might be in the works. Ubisoft reportedly “threatened to sue” Ryan over the teasing. Earlier this year (and in a much lighter tone), Ubisoft's official Twitter account responded to a fan-favorite account (Zephryss) sharing a new, leaked statue of Edward Kenway. The Ubisoft account posted the iconic “Here we go again” screenshot. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Of course, this doesn't confirm much, and it probably has to do with continued fan demand for the game, but even acknowledging the leak encourages Ubisoft to take action.

If so, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will probably launch towards the end of 2026

If Assassin's Creed Black Flag re-synced is revealed in April, it will be interesting to see how Ubisoft continues to market it. This summer could be Ubisoft Forward and there is no doubt Black flag he will be at the head of that ship if so. It would probably come out sometime in the fall or winter, ending on a strong note for Ubisoft (if done well and well received). Its popularity alone probably means it will sell very well.

Along with this April revelation, there could be a call for shade. While such actions are inherently risky, a strong show followed by a drop in shade would send AC fans flock to it in April. Such actions, after weeks of rumors and leaks, would also make more sense than some other games. But for now, fans have to wait for Ubisoft to show their hand.
