What to do with the stone step in Resident Evil 8
The Stone Dais is in the altar next to the Duke near the Maiden of War statue. There are four slots on the stage and to activate it you will need to find all four pieces of the rose. Naturally, this means you'll have to defeat all the other village lords. Use the following encounters to obtain a flask containing part of Rose's body:
Once you have all the pink bottles RE8, go to the stone step by the altar and put them in the box one by one. When you put in the first flask you get a flashback from Rose's perspective and not soon after you put in all of them, the stone step becomes a giant's chalice.
Entering Heisenberg's factory in RE8
After you pick up the Giant's Chalice, the bonfire in front of you will light up, leading you to the Ritual Place. Use the Giant's Chalice in the slot with the Umbrella logo in the middle of the area, then a cutscene will play. Stone bridges will emerge from a nearby stream, connecting the village to the factory, where players will find Heisenberg.
The Ritual Site's central platform will turn into an elevator shortly after you use the Giant's Chalice. Once it reaches the bottom, exit the tunnel and you'll find yourself on the same stone bridge from the previous cutscene. At this point, it's a direct shot at the factory, where a completely different kind of enemy awaits.
