Overwatch released another hotfix update that includes buffs for Anran, Emre, and Mizuki, as well as nerfs for Domino, Vendetta, and Jetpack Cat. These balance adjustments for the last six heroes to arrive Overwatch they are in play right now.

February 10th Overwatch released a massive Season 1: Conquest update. With year-long storylines, a redesigned user interface, and five new playable characters, Blizzard's hero shooter has been a huge success since its soft relaunch. Then on February 13 Overwatch released a hotfix that introduced some changes to the five Season 1 heroes along with Vendetta that arrived in the previous season.

Now, Overwatch released a second hotfix update that focuses on the same heroes with another set of balance adjustments. On the polished side of things, fiery Overwatch Agent Anran received a reduction in the cooldown of Inferno Rush and an increase in the distance she can move while Dancing Blaze is active. This added mobility should help reduce the high mortality of a fragile but dangerous damage hero.

Emre also received a significant buff with an additional 2 damage per shot of his synth rifle, which is basically Overwatchversion HaloBattle rifle. The hero already has hit, but this should help make his primary weapon's damage output comparable to fully auto hitscan heroes like Soldier: 76 and Sojourn.

Last on the buff list is Mizuki, one of the two new support heroes Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 1 Kekkai Sanctuary, his ultimate, now lasts an extra second, making him more effective in teamfights. The Overwatch the team is discussing other changes for the hero, which could include increasing the range of his Healing Aura or Kekkai Sanctuary's ability to absorb projectiles that try to leave the field as well as those that enter it.

Nerfs for Domino, Vendetta and Jetpack Cat in Overwatch

On the other side of the scale is Domino, the only new tank from the Reign of Talon Season 1 hero drop. Domino dominates Overwatch with her high damage and area control. To shrink down in size, her ultimate, Panopticon, has been increased by 12%, which should slow down how often she can launch a devastating attack.

Vendetta is the only hero on this list that wasn't introduced in Reign of Talon Season 1, instead arriving in Season 20 late last year. The melee damage hero was a terror on the battlefield with high damage and mobility. This latest nerf reduces the damage from her overhead swing and fixes a bug that made her immune to knockback when brought down with this finishing attack. This is the latest in a series of nerfs that the Talon leader has received, so players will have to find out if Overwatch he will have to hit her again in the future.

Finally, Jetpack Cat – probably the most bizarre hero Overwatch when he was released – he played almost too well, with high damage, mobility and air superiority. To compensate, the cooldown of the Claws Out minor perk has been increased and the damage bonus of the Territorial Major perk has been reduced from 50% to 33%. This is only the beginning of the Jetpack Cat nerfs as the territory perk is expected to be in Overwatch mid season 1 patch in a few weeks to be replaced by something else.

This mid-season update is expected to arrive on or around March 10 or 17, with Season 2 starting on April 14. In the meantime, there could be more hero balance hotfixes, but until then, fans shouldn't expect any major changes.
