In the world NarutoKage is considered the pinnacle of power in the ninja village. Boruto defeats the Five Kage using Momoshiki's powers

It goes without saying that the Five Kage wield tremendous power Boruto series. Currently, the five Kage are Gaara, Chojuro, Kurotsuchi, Shikamaru and Darui. They are monsters in their own right, with some of them also having experience fighting Otsutsuki. However, these Five Kage are definitely the weakest iteration fans have seen in the entire Naruto franchise so far. When Naruto is no longer Hokage, they lose a significant amount of their power, and therefore the Five Kage can no longer be called the strongest.

Coincidentally, the Boruto series did incredibly well by proposing an incredible replacement for the Five Kage in the form of the disgraced ninja, Boruto Uzumaki. Boruto is the son of Naruto and was born with immense potential, but his training with Sasuke and Kashin Koji took him to a whole other level. Boruto is currently one of the strongest ninjas in the world and it goes without saying that his strength far surpasses that of the current Five Kage.

What takes Boruto to a whole new level is his latest deal with Momoshiki Otsutsuki. To defeat Shinju, Boruto Uzumaki made a pact with Momoshiki. Boruto basically receives the power of Momoshiki's karma, meaning that even if he uses that karma, Momoshiki won't try to take over his body. Instead, Momoshiki will fully cooperate with Boruto and allow him to use any power he wishes. However, in return, Boruto Uzumaki gives Momoshiki his body after destroying all Shinju. This is the deal they made, and now Boruto is basically a walking Otsutsuki with powers so great that not even the entire ninja world combined can match him in combat.

Boruto Uzumaki will grow even stronger

With the power of Otsutsuki's karma, Boruto already greatly outclasses the Five Kage, making them essentially insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but the fact is, he's going to get even stronger. Boruto Uzumaki gains full control over all of Momoshiki's powers and continues to develop his own abilities.

He is already known to be a genius ninja and has developed incredible abilities such as Rasengan Uzuhiko and teleportation ninjutsu among others. If Boruto continues to develop at this rate, then he will surely surpass Naruto Uzumaki and any other ninja that came before him, and mark himself as the greatest in history. Of course, he still has a long way to go. He has to go through many battles to gain great experience before he can call himself the strongest in all of history. Naruto Uzumaki's Baryon Mode still surpasses any power Boruto has, but in time he might even be able to surpass his father's strongest version and that would be really exciting for fans.
