WITH One piece in the final saga, it's no surprise that Eiichiro Oda, the author of the story, now features some of the strongest Devil Fruits. With the reveal of the Sun God Devil Fruit in the Wano Country Arc, the final saga was always going to bring more big reveals of this level.
One piece Chapter 1175 was great in this regard as it revealed another God Fruit to the fans and this time it was none other than the Devil Fruit of the God of War. For the very first time in four years, Oda revealed her godlike power to fans, and it goes without saying that this power was absolutely incredible.
One Piece: Loki's Dragon Devil Fruit, explained
Loki's black dragon Devil Fruit has finally been revealed and is one of the most powerful in One Piece history.
One Piece Introduced God Fruits In Wano
One Piece first introduced the existence of the God Fruit in the Wano Country Arc. Before the appearance of Sun God Nik, there were no God Fruits in the world of One Piece. However, things changed drastically in this arc when Luffy's Devil Fruit was revealed to have a hidden nature. While most knew this fruit to be a Gomu Gomu no Mi and Paramecia type, its true nature was revealed to be a Mythical Zoan type. The fruit was revealed to be Hito Hito no Mi, a model of Nika.
This Devil Fruit allows Luffy to transform into a deity worshiped by many around the world for centuries, known as the Sun God Nika. Luffy becomes a liberation warrior and sun god and this basically grants him tremendous powers. Luffy is certainly not the only deity that exists in the world of One Piece. There are many more with the power of God, and One Piece chapter 1175 continued to reveal another such God-like ability to fans in the form of Nidhogg, the mythical dragon.
One Piece's God of War Had A Nidhogg Devil Fruit
One Piece Chapter 1175 confirmed a very interesting lore about the God of War of Elbaf. It is said that centuries ago there was a powerful god of war in Elbaf, and this god of war had the power of the Nidhogg Devil Fruit. Since the God of War had ancient giant blood, he could use the full potential of the Nidhogg Devil Fruit to transform into an absolutely massive dragon that could cover the entire sky and bring on the nights just by flying across the lands. He could also destroy lands with his lightning breath, given his massive firepower.
In Elbaf we have the legend of the god of war. Wielding the weapon Ragnir, he transformed himself into a huge dragon to confront Nik, the Sun God. — Jarul, One Piece chapter 1175
One Piece's New Loki Reveal creates a plot hole that completely destroys Devil Fruit lore
One Piece's Devil Fruit tradition was destroyed by a new plot introduced by Oda in Elbaf.
-
Alongside the God of War was the ice squirrel Ratatoskr, and this squirrel also possessed tremendous strength. After his master's death, his soul resided inside the hammer of Ragnir, currently wielded by none other than Loki. God of War of Elbaf with Nidhogg Devil Fruit basically means that this fruit is also a God Fruit. Eating this devil fruit resembles the war god of Elbaf, but only shows its true power when eaten by an ancient giant. In other words, just as Luffy is the sun god, Loki is the war god of Elbaf and definitely an incredibly important character.

Nidhogg was equal to the sun god Nika
One piece Chapter 1175 also painted a very interesting picture of the power of the Nidhogg, in other words the god of war. According to Jarul's wording of his message, Nidhogg and the Sun God Nika were of equal power. The fact that they are pitted against each other means that Nidhogg must be strong enough to stand up to other powerful deities. In fact, when Nidhogg is called the God of War, it means that he must have tremendous firepower. Even Imu is somewhat afraid of Nidhogg, showing that his powers are comparable to Nika herself. As the Elba arc continues, fans are sure to see more of Nidhogg as well as the Sun God Nik.
