The Epic Games Store officially reveals its free games for March 26

The Epic Games Store officially revealed Havendock and Hyper Echelon as his free games for March 26. Valued at roughly $33 USD combined, these two titles will be the last bonuses users can add to their Epic Games Store accounts for free in March 2026.

Between March 12th and 19th, Epic was giving away a WWI multiplayer shooter Isonzo and colorful life sim A cozy grove. With that offer now officially over and another one taking its place, the company has also revealed the contents of its latest March 2026 giveaway.

Havendock and Hyper Echelon are free from Epic on March 26th

The next Epic event arrives in the form of a 100% discount on cozy city builders Havendock and a sci-fi shoot-'em-up Hyper Echelon. The two games will be available to pick up from March 26th at 8:00am PT / 11:00am ET until April 2nd at the same time. The gift will be the first time Epic Games Store users will be able to claim it Hyper Echelon and Havendock for free.

What is Havendock?

Developed by YYZ Studio, Havendock is a colorful colony simulator that puts the player in the role of the founder of a fledgling ocean settlement, tasked with growing a small raft into a self-sustaining community through resource gathering, farming, and light automation systems. City Builder was officially released in April 2025 after a year of Early Access development with publishing support from Pretty Soon and IndieArk. From March 2026 Havendock boasts “Very Positive” reviews on Steam based on over 1,400 player views. The indie colony sim also has a “Strong” rating on OpenCritic, derived from 67 reviews with an average score of 75 and a 73% recommend rate.

What is Hyper Echelon?

Developed and published by Swiss studio GangoGames, Hyper Echelon is a vertically scrolling shooter that combines retro-style arcade gameplay with upgrade-driven progression. First released for PC in November 2021, it features a sci-fi campaign and a “Wingman” tactical system that allows players to control two ships at once, making them a bigger target while increasing their firepower. The game also supports local multiplayer, where a second player can take on the role of Wingman.

Next week's promotion is preceded by a newly launched Epic Games Store offer on March 19, which includes Electrician simulatora 2022 title from Polish developer Take IT Studio. As the name suggests, this limited-time vacancy offers the opportunity to play the role of an electrical specialist who takes on household electrical work, from changing light bulbs and sockets to repairing appliances and laying wires. The game is set in accepting orders from clients and gradually building a workshop. Three and a half years since its release, Electrician simulator has a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam based on over 1000 player reviews. Regularly priced at $17.99, Take IT Studio's first-person sim has never before been given away to Epic Games Store users.

The March 19-26 giveaway also includes the Tachibana Epic Anniversary Pack for Wargaming's naval combat game. World of Warships. The $25 add-on features the titular Japanese warship classified as a Tier 2 Premium Japanese Destroyer. The DLC also comes with five Epic permanent camos, cosmetic items that provide ongoing gameplay bonuses. Permanent camouflage World of Warships can be used only once and remain attached to the container even after it is sold.

The Epic Games Store has already given away more than $540 worth of digital items since the start of 2026, with a promotion on March 26 set to push the value of its offering this year to over $570. Epic is also expected to formally announce its first Q2 2026 giveaway on March 26, unless it decides to launch another one of its Mystery Game promotions this coming quarter.
