IN Pokemon GoThe Dynamax/Gigantamax phenomenon has significantly changed the way players collect and battle Pokemon, adding another layer of complexity to an already huge mobile game. So it's no wonder that new players or returning veterans are a little confused when comparing Dynamax and Gigantamax species.
In this guide, players will find a a comparative analysis between different Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémonwhich are classified into tiers according to their max performance, stats, best roles and TDO. These factors are key to defining which of these Pokémon will stay ranked and become PvE meta tips for the foreseeable future. This guide will be updated accordingly as new Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon appear Pokemon Go.
All Gigantamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO
Gigantamax Pokemon can be great helpers in Max Raids, but which ones can you catch in Pokemon GO?
Updated March 21, 2026 Lucas Simons: Memories in Motion is the current season for Pokemon GO, and with it, the new Dynamax Pokemon have entered contention for a place among the ranks of this tiered list. With the recent addition of Dynamax Ho-Oh and Regice, the power balance has changed slightly. Check out the latest changes in the tier lists below.
List of Pokemon GO Dynamax and Gigantamax levels
Let's begin this analysis by explaining this classification. Ranks go from S (Superior) to D (Lowest of Ranks), and a Plus (+) next to a Pokémon's name means that Pokémon may be considered slightly higher depending on the circumstances, or that it has even more utility despite being at its maximum rank.
Stats are ranked by maximum move power, and each entry contains the best moveset for that Pokemon and max stat values of 100& (Perfect IVs). So without further ado, let's take a look at the strongest Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon.
Dynamax Pokemon have their overall stats and size greatly boosted, although they retain their original forms. Meantime, Gigantamax Pokemon not only gain more power, stats, and size, but also gain a new form and gain a G-Max Move.
Pokemon S-Tier Dynamax
The Pokemon below are considered S-Tier in terms of usefulness in Dynamax/Gigantamax Raids and are some of the current meta's preferred picks.

A- Tier Dynamax Pokemon
In general, A-Tier Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon are considered viable and low-budget investments, more so for those who have other forms/Mega Evolutions besides their Dynamax Form.

B-Tier Dynamax Pokemon
B-Tier Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon are good picks, but players need to think carefully about their roles during raids, as some of these attackers are glass cannons, while Supports and Tanks aren't as reliable as A and S Tier Pokémon.
