Probably the biggest highlight is the music theme, with a heavy focus on Metal Legion, a metal band that plays on a stage called the Blood Stand. It's a cute mix of realism and fantasy that's quite rare to see, which is why there are no zones like Grothmar Valley in the genre. Payers interested in both the fall and the festival should head here if they can!

5 Brightwood: The New World

Modern and creepy

Brightwood is probably the latest attempt at a Halloween-inspired haunted zone in a premium MMO, and the modern software behind it. The zone is centered around The Lost, humans and animals whose minds are broken from the cumulative trauma they experienced while immortal. The zone itself is dark, with a heavy emphasis on toxic greens and blues that give the area an unnatural look.

The enemies that lurk around look like undead witch hunters and gravediggers, unlike the typical Lost models that are just zombies. It's a weird mix of tropes, like if the Salem witch trials went wrong and turned everyone undead, only for them to use their gruesome new powers to prey on unsuspecting victims instead.
