What to bring before fighting Praveus the Ancient in Crimson Desert

Essential items to bring before battling the Ancients in the Crimson Desert

Palmar pills: These can revive you after you die, meaning you won't have to restart boss fights when they're close to death.
Recovery items: Meat Skewers are the perfect healing item as they provide decent health and spirit with only two ingredients.
Concentrated shot: This skill from the green skill tree is necessary because Praveus the Ancient is a flying boss that won't want to land, so taking him down is absolutely necessary.
Bow and arrow: Since Praveus the Ancient is flying around, a bow and arrows are needed. We used regular Arrows and a default bow that was upgraded to Lv 3.
Heat Resistant Armor / Abyss Gears: Praevus uses fire attacks and the boss arena is covered in fire so your health will drain and if you get too hot you will catch fire. Click here to get a set of Heat Resistant Armor.

Where to find Praveus the Ancient in Crimson Desert

Praveus the Ancient can be found in Abyss Debris, which is west of Tashkalp in the Crimson Desert area..
If Praveus isn't here for some reason, you may need to start with Aeserion, the Great Serpent Faction quest from Deleysia, located in the Serpent Sanctuary in Dewhaven (South Island).

How to defeat Praveus the Ancient in Crimson Desert

Praveus the Ancient is a flying boss, so you'll need to knock him out of the air first.
You can do it with Focused Shot (Hold L2 to aim the bow, then L3+R3 to enter Focused Shot, then R1 to tag Praveus, then fire 4 arrows that stun).
When Praveus is stunned, he falls to the floor, opening him up to more ground attacks. We recommend Turning Slash (R1+R2) and Heavy Attacks (R2) drain his health.
While Praveus flies, often flies low enough for your Turning Slash attacks to reach him. Try to bring him to the northern area of the arena where he will be stuck to the rocksallowing you to spam attacks against him.
As for attacks to watch out for, Praveus will often fire fire lasers and dodgeable meteors at you. If you don't dodge, you might catch fire, so spam rolling on the floor to put it out.

All Praveus the Ancient Rewards in Crimson Desert

Defeating Praveuse Ancient will grant you these unique items:

A memory of ancient nature: Grants knowledge of all 150 collectibles.
Ancient earrings: An earring that grants 2 defense, Lv 1 movement speed, and +0.2 health every 1 second.
An ancient rage: (R1+Circle) Summons orbs that track nearby enemies and explode on impact.
Abyss Artifact (Used for skill point exchange or Lv 4+ weapon/armor upgrade material).
