Crimson desert players zoomed in on the sky, aided by the recently discovered gliding feature, which is more likely than not a glitch. This apparent error of sliding in Crimson desert seems to be the choice of many as the preferred way to fast travel across the game's vast world, but many players expect it may not be forever.
After starting on March 19 Crimson desert he had a bit of a rough start with some players, but recovered quickly and has been winning them in droves ever since. Its medieval fantasy aesthetic, multi-faceted combat system, and stunning visuals have earned it a lot of praise from players in its first few weeks of availability. Another great benefit is Crimson desert's massive open-world map that features six distinct regions, each with its own biome, and covers a playable area at least twice the size of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.
Crimson Desert Trick allows you to use a tree as a catapult
Players of the latest action-adventure game Crimson Desert will find an unconventional way to get around using trees as catapults.
Crimson Desert Gliding Trick allows players to quickly traverse the map
While fans seem to love all that open space, it also presents the problem of actually having to move across tens of square miles of the map, and some fans have been looking for a way to speed up the process. Many seem to have found the answer in the form of some sort of flying or gliding mechanic that most likely wasn't meant to be in the game. Several posts from fans across social media, including Reddit user DullEstablishment409, showed the trick in action. Crimson desert protagonist Kliff takes a powerful leap straight into the air before flying forward in a controlled glide that covers a much larger area than standard game mechanics would normally allow.
Pulling off this aerial feat is a multi-step process. First, players will want to get as much height out of the jump as possible to maximize the potential range of the glide. At the top of their jump, they will want to release their crow wings and enter focus mode, slowing down time Crimson desert. At that point they will want to activate the aerial move while moving forward. The final piece of the puzzle is exiting focus mode while still in the air, which cancels out the usual bonuses but gives players a surprising amount of propulsion to rocket forward at impressive forward speeds through the air.
In order to use this gliding trick, players will need to acquire several different necessary skills Crimson desert. First, players will only receive their Crow Feather Cloak after completing the Woman in White quest, which begins on the Ethereal Path. Of course, they will also need to use the Abyss Artifact to access the Aerial Roll skill once Flight is unlocked. Additionally, while not a mandatory part of this trick, players will probably want to at least learn how to double jump Crimson desertas reaching greater heights before activating any other skill used in this trick will maximize the range of the glide maneuver.
One of the most interesting parts of this sliding boost method, which is also disturbing to many players who use it, is that it seems that the developer Pearl Abyss did not intend for it to be part of the game at all. Fans are divided on whether this mechanic is a bug or a feature, with the vast majority falling into the former camp, noting the advanced combination of controller inputs required to operate and the slightly lackluster animations. This is causing some players to not want to get too attached to boosted gliding as Pearl Abyss was fixing Crimson Desert problems shortly after its release. Still, if this is a glitch, some hope that the development team will recognize how many players seem to appreciate it, and that they may decide to just leave it alone.
