The iconic Zelda location is coming to Pokopia
In a post on Reddit, user Witty-Plum-9572 shared a video of his take on Gerudo Town in Pokemon Pokopia. Gerudo City is an important place Zelda: Breath of the Wildand Popopia the design looks incredibly faithful. The desert oasis includes palm trees, waterfalls and a royal palace with the Riju bedroom. After completing Gerudo City, the poster already said that they are thinking of other places to recreate, including Kakariko Village or Rito Village. It makes sense that creative Zelda fans can attract the latest Pokemon spin-off, although the franchises are significantly different.
Zelda fans are eager to find out what Nintendo has planned next for the series; at this time, Nintendo has not announced what's next. However, the remake Ocarina of Time is rumored to be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year. Monolith Soft continues to work as a co-developer of Zelda, but it's unclear exactly what the team is working on. It is possible that the developer could be involved in the said remake, or that they are working on an actual sequel Tears of the Kingdom. Nintendo tends to be pretty secretive, so fans will have to be patient until the company is ready to make an announcement.

Whatever the future holds Zeldait's clear that everyone will be waiting at least until the end of the year for the next new game. Nintendo tends to avoid too many releases in the same time frame, even if Ocarina of Time remake is real, it's safe to assume it won't be available until later this year. Popopia may not appeal to everyone Zelda fan, but players who enjoyed creative freedom Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom they might find something they didn't expect.
