A live event on stage during the upcoming Overwatch Series of champions the May 22-24 broadcast will feature content from Season 3 of Reign of Talon. However, this exciting esports competition will also have a special event for spectators. According to the Champions Clash Viewer's Guide on oficial Overwatch esports website, at some point during the event there will be a live performance on stage that will include an exclusive first look at what's to come Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 3. The exact timing of this showcase is unknown, but matches begin on May 21 at 7:00 PM PT (May 22 in Japan), so fans hoping to catch this preview should keep their eyes peeled.

While there are many things that could be shown, the most interesting possibilities would be a new hero or map Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 3. Judging by their silhouettes, the next figure is almost certainly a member of the Hashimoto clan, a prominent Japanese crime syndicate in Overwatch which recently merged with Talon. This is confirmed by the new Japan Night map located in Tokyo that is coming in Season 3.
If one or the other appears during a showmatch, it would be the first time Overwatch reveals a new hero or map during an esports event. With Champions Clash taking place in Tokyo, this would be especially fitting Overwatch reveal a new Tokyo map or a Japanese hero during the OWCS tournament. This means there is no confirmation that a new hero or map will be revealed during the event. It's possible that Champions Clash could showcase some other feature from Season 3 instead, such as a Mythic hero skin, a competitive reward, or a hero overhaul, so players should temper their expectations.

Either way, it won't be long before players see this new hero; Overwatch Reign of Talon season 3 starts on June 16, which means that this playable character will have to be revealed before then. According to the credible Overwatch leaker, the character is actually the Kanezaka leader of the Hashimoto branch, making her Kiriko's enemy and Mizuki's boss. Described as “Overwatchversion of Reva from Black Lagoon” and “Cassidy 2.0,” this deadly crime boss reportedly wields two pistols and a bayonet. Aside from a credible source, the leaks seem credible and match the character's sharp silhouette, so fans will have to see how accurate these rumors are once the hero is revealed, whether it's at Clash of Champions or sometime after.
