Netmarble's Solo Alignment: Stand Up updated the overarching content this year while the rest stalled. It not only added Hunter Original one-shots, but also expanded lore, original Hunters, and side stories, all of which are available on Netmarble's official website. In particular, the one-shots go into detail on how to become powerful hunters in the Solo leveling world.
What makes the latest one-shots introduced Solo Alignment: Stand Upso compelling is that they forego spectacular dungeon battles and instead explore the pain, the emotional cost of becoming the world's most powerful hunters. Just like the main character Sung Jinwoo has an incredibly tragic story, Myro and Antoine Martinez also have incredibly heartbreaking stories.
The first chapter introduces Myro, an ordinary civilian but a world-renowned pianist who had no hunting skills at the time. She suffered at the hands of a newly awakened obsessive stalker, Hunter, who destroyed her career and reputation in one night. The hunter fell in love with Myro and massacred her audience at one of his performances, leaving her reputation in ruins. He took her captive, during which she was subjected to the same mysterious torment of Eternal Sleep that afflicted Jinwoo's mother. She refused to submit and attempted to burn herself alive, but as she was about to do so, Baran, Monarch of the White Flames and King of Demons, appeared before her and presented her with an offer to avenge her captor. This moment marked a new chapter in Myro's life as she was awakened as Baran's chosen successor.
In the second story, Antoine Martinez, who was a devoted family man before becoming a national healer, sees his world come crashing down when his daughter is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Loving husband and father Antoine's world comes crashing down when he has to drive his daughter to the hospital, only for their car to collide with an 18-wheeler on the way. At this point, Antoine wakes up as a hunter who uses his newfound powers to rush his wife and daughter to the hospital on foot. Although Antoine's wife survives the accident, his daughter dies. He later discovers her diary where he describes his father as someone strong enough to protect everyone around him, and these words become his driving force. In this heart-wrenching moment, Antoine vows to protect others in memory of his daughter and become a powerful healer and hunter.

Sung Jinwoo, the protagonist of Solo Leveling, is set to be officially crowned king in the next edition of the anime.

The stories of Myra and Antoine rival Jinwoo, who was brutally murdered in a dungeon raid before inheriting his extraordinary powers. Like Myro and Antoine, Jinwoo gained his powers after a dungeon raid went wrong. He was brutally killed in a raid and inherited his powers at a deeply personal cost.
Solo Alignment: Ragnarok meant that most of the Monarch's successors are personally chosen by their predecessors, although the identity of the Demon Monarch's successor remained an ongoing mystery. This gap was filled by Myro's story, which indeed revealed that the Demon Monarch had chosen his own successor.
