The 7 Most Powerful Mythical Zoan Transformations, Ranked

The One piece the story focuses primarily on the Zoan Devil Fruits from the beginning of the final saga. Since the Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits are the most special and rare Zoans of all, Eiichiro Oda introduced a plethora of these abilities in the last arcs. All Mythical Zoans have special abilities and some of them even allow the user to undergo unique transformations. While not all Mythical Zoan transformations are equally powerful, some are truly among the best and provide world-shattering power.

Human-divine wolf form

• Type: Hybrid Zoan

• Devil Fruit: Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami

• User: Yamato

Wano was an arc filled with various Zoan Devil Fruits. While most of the Zoan Devil Fruits introduced in Wano were Ancient Zoans, there are also a few Mythical Zoans in the bunch, one of which belonged to Yamato, Kaido's child. Yamato ate the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami, and became the divine wolf guardian of Wano land.

Yamato showed off both her hybrid and full Zoan transformations; however, her hybrid transformation proved to be more useful, as seen when she faced Kaido. Using her hybrid form, Yamato fought against the hybrid Kaido and was able to keep up with him until Luffy's return. With the power of ice manipulation, this Mythical Zoan transformation is definitely one of the best.

Buddha form

• Devil Fruit: Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu

• User: Sengoku

Among the admirals of One piece world, Zoan Devil Fruits are not exactly common. Most admirals have Logia Devil Fruits, but Sengoku, the former fleet admiral, stands as an exception and owns the Mythical Zoan Hito Hito no Mi, model: Daibutsu. He was the first revealed Mythical Zoan Hito Hito no Mi and is undoubtedly powerful.

This devil fruit allows Sengoku to undergo Buddha transformation. With this form, Sengoku gains godlike powers and is allowed to create stunning shockwaves as seen during Marineford. The true potential of this Devil Fruit has not been revealed, but it is undoubtedly one of the best, as even Roger considered it a worthy opponent.

Yokai forms

• Type: Full Zoan

• Devil Fruit: Yokai Powers

• User: Five Elders

Five elders were present in One piece story for decades. However, their powers were eventually revealed during the Egghead Arc of One Piece. In Egghead, the Five Elders made their proper debut and showed off their Yokai transformations. While it is not explicitly clear whether the Yokai transformations come from the Devil Fruits or are simply the result of Imu's Covenant, it is clear that they fall somewhere in the Mythical Zoan category.

Each elder has their own Yokai ability with their own strengths and abilities, but without a doubt their full Zoan forms that they have already demonstrated are overwhelming in their power and made Luffy and the Straw Hats run instead of facing them head on.

Drum Dragon

• Devil Fruit: Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu

• User: Kaido

Kaido acted as the final antagonist of the Yonko saga and his battle against Luffy was a sight to behold. On Onigashima, Kaido demonstrated the full potential of Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu. This Devil Fruit offers Kaid several overpowered transformations. While his hybrid was impressive, his true power is shown in his full Zoan Transformation, specifically when he connects to his Drum Dragon form.

Although not officially confirmed, Kaid's Drum Dragon form appears to be the Awakening of his Devil Fruit. In this form, Kaido is engulfed in magma-like flames and becomes comparable in size to Onigashima, melting everything he touches, even islands. It remains a destructive form that can rival any other Zoan transformations in One Piece.

Nidhoggr

• Devil Fruit: Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhoggr

• User: Loki

The Elbaf Arc introduced several new Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits, and among them is one of the best new abilities — Loki's Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhoggr. The hybrid form of this Devil Fruit has yet to be seen, but its full transformation is already stunning. In his full Zoan form, Loki becomes so large that he can be compared to an island in size, surpassing even Ragnir and Giant Gear 5 Luffy. This full Zoan transformation also gives Loki lightning powers that he can use in many ways, with the power to destroy the world. This transformation is undoubtedly one of the most impressive, especially in the Final Saga.

Gearbox 5

• Type: Hybrid/Full Zoan Awakening

• Devil Fruit: Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika

• User: Luffy

For the most part One piece story, fans were under the impression that Luffy's Devil Fruit was a Paramecia known as Gomu Gomu no Mi; however, when the Fruit finally awoke on Onigashima, it was revealed that it was actually a mythical Zoan known as Hit Hito no Mi, Model: Nika.

When this Devil Fruit awakens, it allows the user to tap into a special Zoan form that Luffy named Gear 5. It's unclear if Gear 5 is a hybrid or a full transformation, but either way it's pretty overpowered as it allows Luffy to become Sun God Nika. When connected to Gear 5, Luffy can do anything he imagines. He can even affect his surroundings and turn them into rubber, for example. Gear 5 also has other powerful abilities, such as his gigantizing power, which allows Luffy to eclipse Kaido in sheer size.

• User: Imu

Of all the Mythical Zoan transformations seen in the One Piece world, Imu's Devil form is the strongest so far. While it's still not entirely clear what the actual classification of the Imu Fruit is, it certainly seems to fit the Mythical Zoan category the most. Imu's Devil Fruit is known as Akuma no Mi, or Devil Fruit.

Through his demonic form, Imu has displayed quite a few abilities. He transforms Ima into a devil with tanned skin, horns and two black wings and grants him a power called God's Dominion. Imu can use pacts as her main source of power, and more than that, manipulate black flames called Maki, which have overwhelming energy enough to destroy the likes of Zoro and Sanji, and overpower even Loki. Imu can also turn anyone into his demonic slave with powers such as Domi Reversi, and what's more, grant Covenants to his subordinates, allowing him to grant them an immortal and regenerating body of immense power. Imu's Devil transformation makes him a one-man army in One Piece and is certainly the strongest form of all.
