One Piece's The story takes place in the Great Era of Pirates, where the strongest crews went to battle One piece via the Grand Line. The Grand Line itself is a sea of challenges and dangers. Whether it's the threat faced by marines, other pirates, or natural disasters, there are countless pirate crews that are eventually destroyed, and some are even sunk to the bottom of the seabed. While many pirate crews made a name for themselves, some others were wiped out in their quest for supremacy, with the Final Saga adding to it all.

Rocks Pirates
Decades ago in the story of One pieceone pirate crew reigned supreme on the Grand Line and this crew was known as the Rocks Pirates. This crew is now lost to history due to its destruction on God Valley Island 38 years ago.
The Rocks Pirates were never the tightest bunch, but they excelled nonetheless; however, it fell apart when Shakky was kidnapped and Xebec's family was in danger in God Valley. Many members of the Rocks Pirates betrayed Xebce, and those who remained by his side were unable to save him. Rocks died in God Valley after being Reversed by Domi and then stabbed to death by Garling. After his death, all the members went their separate ways, with some starting their own pirate crews.

The remains of Whitebeard
The Whitebeard Pirates are a fan favorite from the One Piece series. They were led by Edward Newgate, the strongest man in the world. His strongest commanders included the likes of Marco, Portgas D. Ace, Jozu, and Vista.
After Whitebeard's death at Marineford, the crew didn't immediately fall apart. Instead, Whitebeard's remnants were still around as the main crew led by Marc Fenix. However, they were eventually completely destroyed not long after they set out to avenge the death of Whitebeard. They waged a war against the Blackbeard Pirates, called the Grudge War, but unfortunately lost and were completely destroyed.

Don Quijote Pirates
-
Captain: Donquixote Doflamingo
The Donquijote Pirates were one of the main enemy crews that the straw pirates faced after the timeskip, and were led by the then Shichibukai, Donquijote Doflamingo. In the grand scheme of things, the Donquijote family was an underwhelming crew, with Doflamingo as the only real shining member. However, they were still not an easy bunch to completely defeat.
This pirate crew was completely destroyed in the Dressrosa Arc. After connecting with Gear 4 Bounce Man, Luffy was able to defeat Doflamingo once and for all. All members of this crew are still alive, but most have already been arrested. The Ht organization no longer exists, with their leader, Doflamingo, currently classified as Impel Down Level 6. Doflamingo could still play a role in the Final Saga, but he won't be returning with his party.

Beast Pirates
The Beast Pirates were an overpowered Yonk party and one of the strongest in the entire story. This pirate crew was led by a person who was once referred to as the strongest creature in the world, Kaido. The defeat of this crew was set up from the beginning of the post-timeskip.
In the Wano arc, specifically during the Raid of Onigashima, this crew finally fell when Luffy defeated Kaido. Meanwhile, the rest of the Straw Pirates and their allies defeat all of Kaid's underlings. Kaido is now presumed dead and the rest of his crew are captured.

One Piece: 8 pirates who were in more than one crew
These one-piece pirates were able to sail the seas under more than one flag, giving them plenty of fascinating stories to tell.

Pirates of the heart
-
Captain: Trafalgar D. Water Law
The Heart Pirates, fronted by Trafalgar Law, are a fan favorite. In the ranks of Heart Pirates, Law is definitely the most relevant character, we can't forget Bep, Penguin and Satchi.
Law was doing pretty well in Wano as he was able to take down a Yonko with Kid's help. However, things went downhill for Law after that. Once separated from the Straw Pirates, the Blackbeard Pirates attacked him and while they fought with all their might, the Heart Pirates were destroyed. Law barely made it out alive thanks to Bep's help. Law and Bepo are the only characters to make it, and the rest of the Heart Pirates are presumed dead.

Kid pirates
-
Captain: Eustass Captain Kid
Eustass Kid is a member of the Worst Generation who led the Kid Pirates as its captain. Kid was incredibly useful on Onigashima when he helped defeat Yonko Big Mom. However, as was the case with Law, things took a turn for the worse for him after leaving Wan. He decided to challenge Shanks, which was a terrible decision. Despite a 3 billion bounty on his head, Shanks decimated the entire Kid Pirates in a single hit. People like Kid and Killer were seen diving in the ocean. At this point, fans don't know their condition, but many assume they might have died because there was no one to save them, especially as Devil Fruit users can't swim to shore.

Rumbar Pirates
The Rumbar Pirates are a relatively small bunch in the grand scheme of things. This crew was Brook's original pirate crew over 59 years ago and was then led by Yorki. After Yorki fell ill and sailed through the Tranquil Belt, Brook took over the crew, but they still faced a pretty dark end.
The Rumbar Pirates got stuck in the Florian Triangle, and due to being attacked and poisoned by another pirate crew, they all started dying one by one. Brook was the only surviving member of this crew because he had the Yomi Yomi no Mi. The Rumbar Pirates officially ended that fateful day, despite Brook surviving. He then joined the Straw Hat Pirates.

Gecko Pirates
Gecko Moria was once a member of the Shichibukai that Luffy and the Straw Pirates fought before the timeskip. In the Thriller Bark arc, Luffy and the straw pirates battled the Thriller Bark pirates. However, Moria had another crew before the one that was completely destroyed by Kaido and the Beast Pirates in Wano. This crew was known as the Gecko Pirates, and their loss caused much trauma to Moria.
Gecko Moria lost his crew when he decided to set sail in hopes of saving the homeland that welcomed him with open arms, Wano. Despite the loss of the crew, Moria's sacrifice was still very honorable.
