Everything revealed about GTA 6 in the Take-Two Earnings Call

The big Earnings Call from Take-Two where fans were hoping GTA 6 messages, came and went, and while there were none GTA 6 The trailer 3 that accompanies it is pretty much all good news. As the most anticipated game of 2026, if not the most anticipated game of all time, fans are pretty much hungry for new GTA 6 info.

What came out of this Earnings Call won't shake any fundamentals, but it will calm some concerns. It shouldn't surprise anyone that Take-Two has some big expectations GTA 6and that's reflected in the five big things we learned from the Call (heard around the world).

Game drought from June 2026 blamed on GTA 6

June 2026 is a gaming drought and GTA 6 is to blame

June 2026 has games, but no obvious summer focal point, and GTA 6's abandoned May release date may be why the month seems so empty.

1. GTA 6 release date is locked

The biggest relief is what wasn't at the show: some fans, myself included, expected Grand Theft Auto 6 to be delayed past its November 2026 release date. If there was a time for that, many argue it was the recent Earnings Call. That may or may not be the case, but CEO Strauss Zelnick reaffirmed it GTA 6The release date is November 19, so that's a strong assurance.

2. GTA 6 Trailer 3 and Pre-Orders

Ahead of the official release, fans are eager to know when they can pre-order GTA 6 and when Trailer 3 will drop. Zelnick confirmed that it will be part of the official marketing. Recent rumors suggest GTA 6 Trailer 3 takes place on May 26th, which may or may not be, but the marketing is set for summer. Summer doesn't officially start until June 21st, but a few weeks before or after, it wouldn't be surprising to see the marketing kick into high gear. What Rockstar and Take-Two will do remains to be seen, but it will be interesting nonetheless.

3. Reconfirmed marketing plans

Zelnick echoed that as well GTA 6 marketing will begin in the summer, which isn't exactly news, but it does indicate that Rockstar and Take-Two don't seem to have budged on new plans since then. Of course, one could argue that the anticipation and silence is marketing in itself, because it's on everyone's mind — even without trailers and marketing.

4. Best Buy Pre-Order Rumors were false

Recently, Best Buy emails were sent to key content creators who were planning to increase pre-orders GTA 6and some fans thought it was a slip on behalf of marketing partner Take-Two. Zelnick claims he has no idea where it came from, and overall it appears to have been some unusual mistake.

5. GTA 6 big money

Take-Two also forecasts that its fiscal 2027 revenue will reach 8-8.2 billion, driven by GTA 6. It would be unrealistic to put such big numbers when you are not sure of its release, so this is further confirmation of its plans for a timely release. That doesn't mean there won't be a delay, but it seems increasingly unlikely. Zelnick even outlined some possible revenue plans GTA 6starting with reinvestments, returning cash to shareholders and/or bringing more studios under the Take-Two umbrella.
