Rockstar primarily stuck to showing GTA 6handguns and melee weapons in pre-release content that is shared so far. Classical GTA Melee weapons like baseball bats and golf clubs aren't a surprise to see a return, and it's nice to see the return of hammers and pool cues since melee weapons were first introduced in GTA: Vice City and San Andreasrespectively There's plenty of room for even more melee weapons to join this list, given how almost any hand-held item can be used as a weapon.

The Duke Arms Company has several guns in which it appears GTA 6such as the Mustang .357 Handgun, making the manufacturer's series debut in this entry. Also debut in GTA 6 is a gunsmith Capo who is confirmed to have at least one pistol available in the game. The polymer pistol appears to be the weapon of choice for both Jason and Lucia, and is also shown to be used by several other NPCs, including VPD officers. Two unknown handguns based on the real Beretta 92FS and Bersa Thunder 380 were also shown in GTA 6 media, but their names and producers have not been confirmed.

When it comes to bigger shoulders, GTA 6 includes several weapons confirmed so far, such as a double-barreled shotgun that was only available in GTA: Chinatown Wars and GTA Online yet. Duke Arms Company also has several assault rifles available GTA 6both are carbine variants. A submachine gun based on the Heckler & Koch MP5/40 was also seen being used by Lucia in the latter GTA 6 trailer.

Two types of sniper rifles have been confirmed GTA 6 through official screenshots and trailers. The first is the Bolt Action Sniper, which appears to be based on the Remington 700 BDL, while the second is an assault sniper produced by the Duke Arms Company. The grenade launcher is the only heavy weapon that has been officially confirmed and appears to be the same one that was made by Shrewsbury in GTA 5 and GTA Online.

While none of these weapons have been officially confirmed, they have been revealed to be present GTA 6. Some of these leaked weapons appear to be obvious additions to the game, such as several types of golf clubs to complement the already confirmed mini golf club. Other leaked weapons only have vague descriptions, such as the different types of SMGs said to appear, so it's unclear if they're new versions of existing GTA weapons or completely different weapons.
