When does the hero's journey begin in VAT?

It's almost time for the next one Disney Dreamlight Valley update. While you may have been busy exploring everything that came with Pocahontas, Gameloft is already preparing to add more content VAT on June 3, 2026.

A Hero's Journey in Disney Dreamlight Valley Release Time (DDV)

Phil and Hercules update the release time in VAT

The Hero's Journey update is scheduled to arrive on June 3, 2026. Gameloft has not officially confirmed the release time, but Valley of dreams updates are almost always posted around 9 a.m. ET. Below you can find the expected launch times in different time zones:

This update comes with a lot of new content, but what I'm most excited about are the new characters. This time we get Hercules and his iconic trainer Phil, both joined the valley from Disney's Hercules (1997).

Like most characters, these newly added Disney icons will have their own realm inside the castle of dreams. Before they can move to your valley, you will need to visit it, meet the pair and go through their quests. After unlocking them, you can complete their friendly quests.

Unlocking the realm won't be free. You'll need to spend some Dreamlight to open the door, so save up a bit before downloading the update.

Of course it wouldn't be a Valley of dreams update without a brand new Star Trek. As always, Dreamers are given a list of duties to complete, each of which rewards tokens that can be exchanged for exclusive items.

The hero's journey the update will also bring some limited-time events later this month. First up is Dreamlight Parks Fest, which runs from June 10th to June 30th. After that, players can participate Picture Pursuit event, which will be available from July 15th to July 28th.
