June 4 marks the end of an era for Call of Duty: Warzone

June 4, 2026: No new downloads Call of Duty: Warzone will be released on PS4 and Xbox One.
June 25, 2026: In-game shop for Call of Duty: Warzone will be removed.
November 2026: Call of Duty: Warzone will no longer be playable on PS4 and Xbox One, coinciding with the launch of Season 1.

So while devoted Warzone fans on older consoles still have over five months to play the game, it's important that all new players download Warzone ASAP, as it will no longer be on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 stores, it will arrive on June 4th. If you have a friend or two that you've been trying to get into the game, it's essential that they join Warzone to their libraries before this closing date. If Call of Duty: Warzone has been downloaded on PS4 or Xbox One in the past, then it can be downloaded again until the actual end date in November no problem. COD Point Currency Packs, Call of Duty League Operator Packs, and more will also be removed from console storefronts on June 4th.

If June 4th is the end of new last gen players joining Call of Duty: Warzone community, then June 25 marks the end of in-game shopping. Until June 25th, players can only purchase cosmetics with the COD points they purchased (before June 4th). On this date, the in-game store will be removed, preventing bundle purchases entirely.
