Kumazawa recently discussed the future Resident Evil franchise and had some fascinating things to say about the series possibly coming to Japan. There have been a lot of questions and theories about what will happen next Resident Evil game will have in store, and while it may not be the Japanese one Kumazawa is teasing, it seems likely that the country will eventually take center stage.

Kumazawa noted that since Resident Evil dev team is based in Japan, it only makes sense to consider starting a new chapter somewhere in that area.
