After a successful launch on the Nintendo Switch, Pokemon Champions has made its way to mobile devices today.
The launch of the game on Nintendo Switch brought a lot of new abilities to Pokemon Legends: ZA with new Mega Evolutions revealed. This included, for example, Dragonize for Mega Feraligatr, Mega Sol for Mega Meganium, and Mold Breaker for Mega Emboar.
Now, with the mobile launch of Pokemon Champions and the release of v1.1.0, 11 new Mega Evolutions have made their way into the game, and along with that we've found out what their abilities are, two of which are brand new to the Pokemon series.
Two brand new abilities have been added to the Pokemon world
Pokemon Champions v1.1.0 just added 11 new Mega Evolutions: Mega Eelektross, Pyroar, Scolipede, Scrafty, Malamar, Barbaracle, Dragalge, Staraptor, Falkinks, Raichu X, and Raichu Y. This is the first time these Pokemon have been in a competitive game, so we've seen their new abilities for the first time.
Mega Eelektross just received the Elevate ability, which is Levitation on steroids. It provides the same immunity as Levitate, but also sprinkles some Moxie in there for good measure. Mega Pyroar's new ability, Fire Mane, turns it into a STAB animal that increases the power of its Fire-type moves by 50 percent.
You can check out all the new abilities below:

Fiery mane |
Increases the power of a Pokemon's Fire-type moves by 50 percent. |

Mega Malamar |

Causes stat changes to have the opposite effect. |
Mega Barbaracle |

Mega Dragalge |

Mega Staraptor |
On the contrary |

Mega Falinks |

Mega Raichu X |
Electrical surge |

Mega Raichu Y |
No guard |
The Pokémon uses no-guard tactics to ensure incoming and outgoing attacks always land. |
Other than the two new abilities, there aren't any big surprises. Keeping Malamar Contrary means it will be a force to be reckoned with, and giving it to Staraptor means it becomes a threat with melee.
With these 11, there are now 11 Mega Evolutions yet to officially gain their powers. They are: Absol Z, Garchomp Z, Lucario Z, Darkrai, Baxcalibur, Golisopod, Magearna, Heatran, Tatsugiri, Zeraora and Zygarde. A few of them certainly have what it takes to upset the meta.
