The 8 deadliest jokes, ranked by strength

Most of humanity in My Hero Academia has some type of Quirk. Most people use their quirks in everyday life, but professional heroes use them to protect others, while villains use their quirks for crimes and violence. Each Quirk is useful in its own way, but some Quirks are far more destructive than others.

The most devastating Quirks in My Hero Academia they're controlled by the villains, which isn't that surprising, but several heroes also have very destructive Quirks. The only difference is that heroes try to hold back to minimize collateral damage. Many of these devastating Quirks have the power to destroy cities and their entire populations, and some can even destroy a nation if not stopped in time.

My Hero Academia: The 7 Most Useless Jokes in the Series

Jokes come in many shapes and forms. While every gimmick has its uses, some can be considered borderline useless in MHA.

Double has the power to destroy an entire country

Double is a simple but very effective Quirk and in the wrong hands can be used to overwhelm armies and dominate entire countries. The user has the ability to create two copies of anything they touch. The user can create copies of other people, and although their bodies are less durable than the original's, they can still use any Quirk the original has. This also applies to users and their Double Quirk.

As a result, the user can copy themselves, and their clones can then create copies of themselves. This process can continue until there are tens of thousands or even a million copies running around. Double's destructive potential was shown during the Final War, as if Ochaco Uraraka hadn't awakened her Quirk, the clone army would have wiped out the Pro Heroes and spread across Japan.

An explosion can cause powerful and destructive explosions

The Explosion Quirk is as destructive as it sounds, but at least the user can decide how strong their explosions will be. By secreting and igniting nitroglycerin-like sweat from the palms, the user can cause explosions. Sweat is a byproduct of physical activity, meaning that the explosion becomes progressively stronger and more difficult to deal with as the battle progresses.

If Explosion Awakens, the user can create multiple explosions at once that are more condensed and much stronger. With enough sweat, Explosion can destroy a normal person or reduce a building to rubble with a single attack. If the user went full blast, the explosions could level an entire city, leaving nothing but flames and craters behind.

All for one can destroy large chunks of the city with the right pranks

All For One may be one of the strongest Quirks in My Hero Academia, but it cannot cause widespread destruction by itself. This means that under the right conditions it can destroy large parts of a city. All For One allows someone to steal and use someone else's Quirks. Not only can the user store a seemingly unlimited number of Quirks, they can also use as many Quirks as they want at once.

An All For One user can steal Explosion and destroy buildings in an instant. They could steal Earth Flow and use it to cause catastrophic avalanches. With the stolen Air Canon Quirk, the user destroys multiple buildings at once by creating powerful shockwaves from their hands. During the Final War, a stolen Foul Beam dealt massive, widespread damage with a single shot. As long as the user keeps collecting Quirks, there is no real limit to how destructive All For One can become.

Hellflame can burn almost anything with intense flames

Hellflame is one of the My Hero AcademiaThe most powerful fire jokes and it's a good thing that Japan's former #1 hero used it because the villain could do some serious damage with it. The user can generate intense flames from their body and can control their destructive power by regulating the temperature of their flames. This means that overheating can be a real problem with long-term use.

Hellflame can produce fireballs with enough heat to burn most people. Thanks Endeavor, MHA fans know that Hellflame can create whip-like flames that can turn a building into smoldering ruins. Hellflame can also shoot blasts of highly pressurized flames that can reduce nearby buildings and super-regenerate super-regenerative super-villains to ash. It goes without saying that Hellflame can burn entire cities to the ground.

Disintegration, Explosion and Hellflame

My Hero Academia: 9 Overpowered Jokes That Can Destroy Cities

While My Hero Academia features countless dangerous quirks, some of the most OP abilities can level entire cities with their devastating power.

4

Blueflame can vaporize anything within a three mile radius

Like Hellflame, the Blueflame Quirk gives the user the ability to create flames from their body at will. Blue fire is known to burn hotter than normal flames, meaning that Blueflame is more dangerous, to the extent that the user's body will also burn with prolonged use. These flames can burn entire forests and neighborhoods in minutes.

The full extent of the Blue Flame's destructive power was seen during the Last War when Dabi attempted to go nuclear. Continually accumulating a lethal amount of heat energy, Dabi demonstrated that Blueflame could explode and vaporize everything within a three mile radius. This move would ultimately cost the user his life, but would guarantee the total destruction of a mid-sized city.

3

Overhaul can break matter with a simple touch

It can be argued that Overhaul is the strongest Quirk in the series and would probably have the most broken Awakening Quirk in history. The user can take the material apart and then reassemble it as they wish. The only problem is that they can only do this through physical contact, meaning they are powerless if they lose their hands. With Overhaul, the user can absorb other people and gain their abilities.

In terms of destruction, the Overhaul user can instantly blow up someone's body, even if they lightly scrape it for a split second. By placing their hands on the street, an Overhaul user can level a large chunk of a city in the blink of an eye. The overhaul can also cause massive spikes throughout the area to destroy every building and impale every civilian in sight.

2

A black hole can disintegrate anything with extreme suction

Black Hole is primarily used for search and rescue operations, but is easily the most dangerous and destructive Pro Hero Quirk in My Hero Academia. The user can create miniature black holes with his fingers, and the suction effect is so strong that even light does not escape his pull. It's a very volatile Quirk, which is why a professional hero like Thirteen must always be aware of his surroundings.

Anything that gets sucked into the user's fingers will instantly disintegrate at the atomic level. Not even the user is immune to the Black Hole's destructive power. If a Black Hole user decided to go downtown in the middle of the day, they could take out every single person in the area and destroy every building using all ten fingers at once.

My Hero Academia: 8 Jokes That Can Make Anyone 1 Best Hero

The world of My Hero Academia is full of powerful Quirks, but these eight in particular can take a hero to the very top.

1

Disintegration can turn entire cities into dust in minutes

Decay was originally thought to be a rare mutation, but was later revealed to be a reverse engineered copy of the Overhaul Quirk. The rebuild of the Overhaul part was removed from it, making it a purely destructive Quirk. With the mere touch of their hands, the user could destroy any living or non-living thing through disintegration. The disintegration process started slowly but was almost instantaneous by the end of the series.

Decay became one of the My Hero Academia's god-tier Quirks when he woke up. When this happened, the hand requirement was effectively nullified, as anything that comes into contact with Decay will also disintegrate. As a result, Decay can destroy a city and its entire population. If left unchecked, the decay can spread to the point of decimating the entire land.
