Similar to Hydronaut Fish in Once a Manyou can get a Gazocchio Deviant by completing it Deviant: Gazocchio Quest. This quest can be unlocked by talking to Lowe in the Whalebone Settlement in Vena Fjord.

Gazocchio is a PvE focused territorial deviant patrols your base and attacks any suspicious targets. Once in a while, Gazocchio splits to conjure up a special tactical item called the Gazochio tool. This tool is a handheld searchlight that emits a continuous beam of light.

When you shine a Gazocchie on a shadowy enemy, it is reveals their true physical form, making them vulnerable to attack. To use the Gazocchio tool, equip it and hold the left mouse button while the light is aimed at the Shadow Enemy. The light pulses several times before stunning the enemy, causing them to slowly materialize. Once it materializes, you can attack it like any other enemy.
