According to recent reports, French studio Quantic Dream is struggling internally with the future Star Wars Eclipse hangs in the balance as workers strike outside the studio. Star Wars Eclipse was announced years ago by Quantic Dream, and in the time since the reveal, there has been virtually no news about the project aside from a few movie trailers.

A recent report from French outlet Gamekult states that Quantic Dream employees are currently on strike outside the studio's Paris headquarters to save 115 The Witcher Chronicles employees who would be key to development Star Wars Eclipse from laying on the log. One employee told the outlet that Quantic Dream is severely understaffed and that firing those developers who might otherwise be assigned to the studio Star Wars project, will only cause more problems as work on the game continues. The strike began on June 26 at the same time a Lucasfilm representative visited Quantic Dream to see how the game was being developed. Striking developers say they want to save themselves Star Wars Eclipse before further threats.
