Harry Potter fans can look forward to brand new adventures this month. Since the franchise exploded in popularity in the early 2000s, Harry Potter has seen its fair share of video game releases. There have been video game adaptations of movies as well as video game adaptations of books. Totally original Harry Potter Games have also been released over the years, the most notable being 2023 Hogwarts heritage.
Hogwarts heritage released in 2023 to great reviews and record sales, becoming the best selling game of that year in the process. While fans are anxiously waiting for a Hogwarts heritage sequels, they may want to turn their attention to some of the ongoing ones Harry Potter gaming experiences, e.g Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. The Hogwarts Mystery it may not be nearly as popular as it once was, but it still releases notable updates for fans that are good reasons to come back to the game or start it up for the very first time.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Bringing Back Sorcerer's Stone Event and more
from today Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery brought back her Summer of Mystery event. The Summer of Mystery is based on Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stoneso Harry's first year at Hogwarts. Players can complete the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Mini Hogwarts Diary event and also enjoy a scavenger hunt, finding something new each day in the game based on clues posted on social media. The Summer of Mystery is back to help celebrate its 25th anniversary Harry Potter franchise, but there are even more events coming up for the mobile game throughout the month of July.

Starting July 8th Harry Potter fans can participate in a 3-week community challenge where they are tasked with earning as many House Points as possible. Then, on July 29th, Norbert's Transport Beyond Special Preview will be live in-game. Developer Jam City has promised even more The Hogwarts Mystery adventure in July, with three more expected to launch later this month. Specifics on when exactly these adventures will be available or what they'll entail haven't been revealed yet, but we've teased that one will “challenge the boundaries between the wizarding and muggle worlds,” another will “help a beloved Hogwarts professor prepare for the new school year,” and the finale will be about “going on an exciting journey filled with dragons.”
Harry Potter fans will have even more Philosopher's Stone content to watch later this year. The first season Harry Potter The HBO series premieres on December 25 and will adapt the first book.
Finally, the last week of July wraps up Jam City's big plans The Hogwarts Mystery this month. From July 24th to July 31st The Hogwarts Mystery will feature a 25 Years of Magic Sweepstakes where players can win prizes from HarryPotter.com after logging into the mobile game. The draw ends on July 31st, as that happens to be Harry Potter's birthday.
For those who can't get enough The Hogwarts Mystery's stories and characters, the next big update is coming on September 1st. September 1st is the start of the school year for Hogwarts v Harry Potter lore, so it will be exciting to see what exactly The Hogwarts Mystery has in stock.
