Official Fate 2 the Twitter account shared a post about two sets of armor being deactivated to prevent problems, and it's possible that they will never be activated again. Fate 2 unfortunately, it is facing a permanent shutdown after its latest hotfix, which is likely to arrive on Tuesday, July 7th, which also happens to be Bungie Day. The patch was supposed to arrive this week on June 30, but layoffs at Bungie made it difficult to make any final changes to the game in time.
Fate 2The latest update, called Monument of Triumph, added a lot of new content to the game's patrol destinations and existing activities. This made the game probably the healthiest it's ever been, but not a success either Fate 2The latest update moved the needle on Bungie or Sony. In fact, Sony released a statement about Fate 2 and Bungie, company layoffs and the future of Marathon. This was followed by another announcement in which Sony noted its interest in live service games, which became popular among fans after Fate 2's death and several studio closings in recent memory.

Destiny 2 may be stuck in “reputation hell” forever.
Destiny 2 enters hibernation and waits for the end of service, meaning current issues may never be resolved.
Say goodbye to those armor sets in Destiny 2
- Grasp of Avarice Dungeon four-part bonus: Overflowing coffers
- Duality Dungeon 4-Part Bonus: Bittersweet
Just an hour ago, the official Twitter shared a post stating that the 4 piece armor comes from Fate 2Monument of Triumph updates are disabled in Crucible (all PvP activities) as they are retuned and causing problems. Normally this would mean that items are later reactivated with fixed values and/or different perks, but since Bungie released almost the entire Fate 2 development team, there will be no form of support for the game going forward. Since the items are too powerful in the Crucible, the only option for the team at Bungie now is to disable them. So starting next week (or whenever the final hotfix comes out), these armor set bonuses will no longer work in PvP for the rest of Fate 2lifespan.

The four-piece Grasp of Avarice gave players a way to gain more ability energy from elemental pickups, while also turning stacks of Untold Greed into an equivalent number of Orbs of Power when the player's shields were broken. This allowed a group of Stasis Titans to spam their Supers by generating an incredible amount of Stasis Shards and turning them into Orbs of Power, essentially giving each other infinite Super Energy in the Crucible. This is possibly one of the best armor sets Fate 2and will continue to work in PvE.
Similarly, Fate 2The Duality Dungeon armor set will also work in PvE, but is permanently disabled in PvP. This is because the 4-piece bonus granted health regeneration based on the number of Built Bitter stacks when storing a weapon, essentially giving players a way to quickly gain stacks in PvP and then heal from them, surviving where it wouldn't normally be possible.
As stated in the post, Bungie will not be able to work on fixing these armor sets in PvP due to the sudden and complete end of support for Fate 2. As such, fans must expect that both the Grasp of Avarice armor set and the Duality armor set will never work again in the Crucible.
