Pokemon winds and waves leaks surface online from a reliable source, including seven all-new Gen 10 Pokemon. Although leaks for Pokemon winds and waves they weren't expected to come, considering the Switch 2 is currently impossible to datamine, it seems that information about new Pokemon has surfaced anyway. Very little is known about the Gen 10 games so far, aside from the official titles, three starters, and some locations shown in the Pokemon Day 2026 trailer.

A renowned Pokemon leaker is taking to social media to confirm a previous leak regarding the release of Pokemon Winds and Waves, and it's not good news.
Pokemon Winds and Waves Leak Shows 7 New Pokemon
Notorious leak account Centro Leaks shared a post on Twitter with a bunch of images that are supposed to be puzzles for the upcoming Pokemon in Pokemon winds and waves. The leak comes from Billy, a reputable source in the US Pokemon commonwealth. They have proven results, including leakage Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen like ports on a switch. If true, the image leaks seven new Pokemon in Gen 10, though fans can only imagine their appearance, types, and moves based on the puzzles. These are:

AND bird pokemonpossibly including pirate themes and wooden legs.

AND kangaroo pokemon inspired by the Vogelkop Tree Kangaroo species, probably related to boxing (probably fighting type) and a mountain called Machapuchare, located in Nepal (South Asia, not Southeast Asia, where Pokemon winds and waves' setting is). It could be a rock-type pokemon, but a mountain, not necessarily the one in the picture, could have a completely different meaning.

AND Komodo Dragon Pokemonwhich refers to a previous leak about a Gen 10 that could spit fire. It doesn't seem to be connected to Gecqua, which means that the development of a Water-type starter is in Pokemon winds and waves may not include this animal.

If the leaks are true, there's a good chance that the Rabbit and Horned Pokemon are actually exclusive versions, with the former being exclusive to Pokemon waves and the other k Pokemon Winds. This is because the moon is widely associated with tides and waves, while the sun is often paired with winds. They could be interesting exclusives and would add to that Pokemon winds and waves” The protagonist's clothing depends on the version one chooses.
Pokemon winds and waves won't be making a reappearance in 2026, according to reports, so fans will have to wait a while to find out if these leaks are genuine. Even then, there's a chance that these seven Pokemon, if they're legit, won't appear in promotional materials, and fans will have to wait for Gen 10 to confirm or deny the rumors.
Whether these leaks are true remains to be seen, but the source has so far proven to be reliable. It helps that most of the species included in the leak are actually endemic to Southeast Asia, which is the inspiration Pokemon winds and waves' islands.
