Cue launch Dragon Age: The VeilguardThe second main quest, Shadows of Ancient Arthalan, gives you a chance to explore the Lighthouse, catch up with other companions, and discuss the path ahead. The Shadows of Ancient Arthalan quest will also allow you to solve a mystery Lighthouse sculpture puzzle, which could be overlooked if you only focus on the main story.

If you're eager to explore every nook and cranny in the game and find every secret, keep learning how to solve the lighthouse statue puzzle it's worth it and will give you several collectible rewards. However, it can be a tricky puzzle to solve because part of the mystery is discovering what it unlocks.


How to run the lighthouse statue puzzle

After completing the prologue and speaking with your companions, exit the main library building and enter the courtyard. After the short scene with Harding, head to north of the map on your left towards a building with a vine covered door called Workshop. Travel along the left side of the building to find a tall statue characters sa A mysterious note pinned to the base around the corner as shown in the image above. To enter the library passage, you must find and place three pairs of statues so they facing each other. You will notice that the statue has a bar that you can use to change the direction it is facing. Fortunately, all three pairs of statues are placed around The exterior of the lighthouseas detailed below.

The twin of the first statue can be found right across from it east. Face the statue where you found the note and work it so it faces east as shown above. Straight ahead you should see its twin, which you can reach by running over to the next building on the left, which acts as Neve's Guesthouse roomlocation of one of Dragon Age: The Veilguardcompanions. Jump down to the ledges in front of this building and jump across the gaps to reach the platform below.

Here you'll find some collectibles, including a chest of gold and blacksmithing tools, a codex titled 'On Devine Imperatives' and placement of the statue at the end of the platform. Turn the statue to West so that his head is facing the first statue you find, which will solve the first part of the lighthouse statue puzzle and a green orb will appear from each statue. However, you don't have to follow these, which fall back into the library as shown in video clip below. To complete the rest of the puzzle, you must find and match two more pairs of statues.

The second statue can be found right next to the outside Dining room building as pictured above. Approach the Dining Hall building. Instead of going inside, follow the path to the right and go up the stairs to find the second statue on the right side of the perimeter of the building. Turn this statue to Westso his face is looking at the Library across from you. That's where you need to go to find his twin, and you may also notice a green orb that appears. Travel up The library's exterior staircase to reach the next statue on the left before the next chest as shown below. Turn this statue to east so it faces the one you just moved by the dining room to complete the second part of the puzzle.

Location of the third pair of statues near the lighthouse

Fortunately, the last part of the puzzle is the Lighthouse statue that is easiest to find. Starting with the second statue at the top Library building stairs, look to the left and you will see a canopy with the last and third pairs of statues below. There is also an open chest between them containing a Flawless Crystal and a Glazed Vase. Turn both statues to face each other to complete the puzzle. This action completes the lighthouse statue puzzle, which Rook says did something, but it's up to you to figure out what. Fortunately, you don't have to go far because the collectible rewards for Lighthouse puzzles are in the library building itselfas detailed in the next section below.

Return to the library building and enter the room with Library tablewhich you will later use to assemble the team. Opposite the Library table, you will see a round door now lit by three lights. There is also a plaque next to the door that says “Three Encounters, Face to Face, Under the Sky” that you can only read before completing the puzzle. Approach the door enter the secret passage of the librarywhich will take you to a hidden room Dragon Age: The Veilguard's Lighthouse so called Music room. Once inside, you can explore the room at your leisure and pick up a few collectibles as a reward for your efforts:
