What's streaming in the new Plus game in Horizon Zero Dawn
New Game Plus (NG+) v Horizon Zero Dawn it offers many benefits as almost all of your progress is carried over. What converts to NG+:
- All weapons
- All outfits (except the Shadow Stalwart outfit)
- All Skills (Some story-related skills will be locked until you reach the corresponding point in the story)
- Aloy's Health Bar and Level
- Inventory
- Case upgrades
- Modifications
- Ammunition
- Traps and potions
- Metal shards
If you plan to play on Ultra Hard in NG+, consider grinding resources beforehand, as items and upgrades are significantly more expensive at this difficulty level.

What you should know about the new Plus game in Horizon Zero Dawn
The new Game Plus (NG+) mode offers much more than just a stronger Aloy – it provides plenty of reasons to dive back into the adventure. Here are some key features you can expect:
- Cosmetic Rewards: Completing NG+ unlocks new face colors and Focus skins. The number of cosmetics unlocked depends on the difficulty setting, with the highest difficulty unlocking all available items.
- A simplified start: NG+ skips the game's introduction and puts you right into the main mission “The Point of the Spear”.
- Exclusive Trophies: Two trophies in Horizon Zero Dawn can only be earned through NG+.
- Restoration of fishing grounds: You will be able to replay all Hunting Grounds challenges as previous scores reset.
- Ghost Levels: After reaching the level cap of 60, players can gain up to 50 spirit levels. These levels do not affect the game, but show your dedication.
New weapons and armor Adept
NG+ introduces a new tier of weapons and armor called “Adept”. This fourth tier includes one extra mod slot on each item, making them better than their standard counterparts. However, there are no Adept versions of the Shield-Weaver outfit or the Tearblaster and Sylens' Lance weapons.
