  • Combining ritual and invocation runes creates runewords with specific effects in Diablo 4.

  • The Vessel of Hatred expansion added new Runewords and updated existing ones, shaking up the Season 7 meta.

Many new mechanics have been added Diablo 4 with the first extension, A vessel of hatredand Hatred Rising Season 6 content. Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred – Tributes & Bargains, Explained

Using Tributes and Bargains is the best way to get the perfect gear in the endgame Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred.

The trigger and effect of this runeword depends on the ritual rune and summoning rune used to create it. Pay close attention to the Offerings generated and required by these Runes, as they affect how reliably you can launch your Diablo 4 Rune word effect. After all, a Ritual Rune that only generates 5x offers won't do much to boost an Invocation Rune that requires 1000x.

Updated January 23, 2025 by Abigail Angell: The official launch of Season of Witches added three new runewords to Diablo 4 – Nagu, Igni, and Chac. It also includes balance changes to the 15 Runewords launched with Vessel of Hatred. These balancing changes and new content, while expected after the addition of such an impressive mechanic, significantly change the meta in Season 7.
