The Stone Sword is a weapon that you can craft fairly early on and serves as a decent weapon that allows you to perform several combat actions at the expense of momentum. Here's how you can craft your first stone sword. After that, you will be able to easily accept mushrooms.

How to make a stone sword

You will need a workbench to craft a stone sword. You can Set up a workbench anywhere Go to the build menu and navigate to the Home tab. From there you can choose a desktop and Place it on five pieces of wood in your inventory.

If you have already created a workbench, go to it and open the Crafting menu. From there you will need the following items to craft a stone sword:

Materials needed	How to get
1x rope	The rope can be crafted with two pieces of mycter thread, which can be obtained by defeating mushroom enemies on any corrupt island. You can craft rope even without a workbench by going to your inventory and then switching to the crafting tab.
3x sharp stone	Similar to ropes, a sharp stone can be crafted without a workbench and requires two regular stones.
1x wood	Wood can be gathered by chopping trees with an axe. You can also collect branches from trees and this will add wood to your inventory.

After you've crafted a stone sword, you can go into your inventory and equip it. A sword can serve many purposes. You can continue later Upgrade your weapon at the upgrade stationsuch as temporarily increasing its sharpness or coating the weapon with fungicide, which will be required to access some necessary areas with the progression.
