A new Pokémon-like co-op survival game is blowing up on Kickstarter

Temtem: Pioneers beat their crowdfunding goal in 24 hours

Another spin-off in the series has now been revealed in the form of Theme: Pioneerswhich was announced along with a Kickstarter campaign on April 9 and surpassed its $100,000 funding goal within 24 hours. As of April 12, the project had collected more than $214,000 in pledges from 2,332 backers, with 27 days left in the campaign. Backers at this level will also be featured in the credits and receive a corresponding role on the game's Discord server, giving them access to an exclusive group. Theme: Pioneers has only been announced for PC so far. Although some of Crema's earlier games have also run on Linux and macOS, the FAQ for its latest Kickstarter campaign specifically describes parallel development for those platforms as too difficult and not worth the effort. The wording still leaves room for potential ports, and the console notes are a long-term goal, but it clearly states that PC will be the only platform to launch the game.
