PlayStation thanks fans for 30 years with emotional retrospective
PlayStation releases a retrospective video that will leave its fans with an emotional memory of the growing history of their favorite games.
Reddit user and PlayStation player post_ex0dus shared their impressive 3D trophy hall they designed to celebrate all their platinums over the years. After some thought, post_ex0dus decided to highlight them by creating a virtual hall to hold all 170 of their platinum trophies. Showcasing the work they've done and the progress so far, the creator revealed a modern and futuristic looking trophy hall with pedestals dedicated to their trophies. Each pedestal contains a label for the game and when post_ex0dus successfully unlocks the trophy, a short description, personal review score, and the trophy itself. The entire trophy hall was created by the artist in Blender, a free 3D modeling and animation program.
PlayStation players love Trophy Hall and want the official version
Many players have shared their opinions on how much they like the overall design and concept of the post_ex0dus trophy hall. Several people have pointed out that this kind of creation would be perfect for something like PlayStation Home, with many lamenting its demise. Some have noted that a place to display trophies was something Sony considered adding to the service, but it never happened.
Now that PlayStation VR 2 is a relatively recent release, many are pointing out that this would be a great opportunity to bring back PlayStation Home. Players point out that they miss the ability to spend time virtually with friends in a shared home space. With the addition of a trophy hall like post_ex0dus, players could enjoy visiting their trophies and get a real physical sense of how much they accomplished. Visiting this kind of space in VR, especially if one could invite friends, sounds like something many players would enjoy.
