The game looks like it will be a fun hybrid between Pokemon and Animal Crossingtwo of Nintendo's biggest franchises, with a planned launch on March 5, 2026. Rather than usual Pokemon Developer Game Freak is taking the reins and Koei Tecmo's Omega Force is helming this title, allowing the new studio to come up with new ideas. a few months ago Pokemon Pokopia first revealed Mosslax, a new form of Snorlax that had fallen asleep long enough to be swallowed up by moss. It's a great concept that has already left fans feeling inspired.

Pokemon Pokopia's Mosslax has already been crocheted and is adorable
Redditor phinerz shared their awesome crochet version of Mosslax that they made while they were waiting to play Pokemon Pokopia. According to the talented user, “now this big boy can wait with me.” The creation took a total of “about 100 hours” and at that time one can certainly tell the incredible attention to detail. One of the reasons it took so long is the sheer size of the Mosslax – it's huge and requires two hands to hold. In the post, phinerz revealed a few more details about their creative process, including how they gave Mosslax's body a sash and fleece look and used felt for his teeth. It was a great look at what it was like Pokemon crochet came to life and charmed users in the series' subreddit.
Fans in the thread loved phinerz's creation, with another user claiming she wanted to “sew a bean bag the wrong size but no idea how to design a pattern”. It's interesting to think that even though Mosslax is such a new Pokémon, it's already inspiring so many fans to put together great tributes in unique ways.
