Sage Mode is one of the most powerful abilities in the world Naruto which can only be used by a handful of individuals in battle. This power allows you to tap into natural energy reserves and use them in battle. Over the years, Kishimoto has introduced quite a few types of Sage Mode in the series, each with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. This means that not everyone has the same level of strength. Sure, some versions of Sage Mode are much better than others, but some of them even have godlike abilities.

Mitsuki's Sage Transformation
One of the most interesting versions of Sage Mode to be introduced in the Naruto franchise recently came via Orochimaru's son Mitsuki. This sage transformation was made possible by Orochimaru creating a perfect synthetic child of his own by infusing him with the Kekkei Genkai of the Jugo Clan. Mitsuki was given the power to passively absorb natural energy from his environment. However, starting this transformation was definitely not easy for him. It took several attempts to create the perfect child for Orochimaru and for Mitsuki to awaken his powers, but once he did, the transformation made him incredibly powerful.
Mitsuki's Sage Transformation giving him a unique aura aura with chakra snakes surrounding him. He also gains a single horn that emerges from his forehead, signaling the use of Snake Sage mode. Basically, this Sage Mode is somewhat similar to the one used by Kabuto in the Fourth Great Ninja War. However, it is clearly a more refined version. On the other hand, it doesn't have the additional advantages that Kabuto had that came with absorbing the bodies of the Sonic Four and Orochimaru himself. This transformation undoubtedly boosts Mitsuki's overall powers tremendously and makes him strong enough to compete on par with Kage-level individuals.

Toad Sage Imperfect Mode
One of the most interesting versions of Sage Mode that Kishimoto introduced in the story was imperfect sage toad modewhich is used by Jiraiya. Since it was imperfect it meant that Jiraiya was unable to properly mix natural chakra with his own and his absorption was not quite right. However, to get around this weakness, Jiraiya had Lady Shima and Lord Fukasaka attached to his shoulders. The two constantly kneaded sage energy for him while remaining still, meaning that Jiraiya gained an almost infinite amount of chakra while using this transformation.
In addition, Jiraiya also gained certain frog-like features when he used his version of Sage Mode. On the surface, this might seem like a disadvantage, but it was actually a great advantage for him, as it made his movement more unpredictable and incredibly dangerous at the same time. By having Shima and Fukasaku with him, he also had the ability to use powerful genjutsu abilities enhanced in Sage Mode that could destroy even someone as powerful as Path of the Pain. Jiraiya's own jutsu had reached a sky-high level and there was hardly anyone who could match him in battle. It's easily one of the most underrated forms of Sage Mode seen in the story.

Snake Sage mode
Snake Sage mode is an incredibly powerful transformation first perfected by none other than Kabuto Yakushi. After absorbing Orochimaru's powers, Kabuto gained tremendous powers and at some point visited Ryuji's cave where he was bitten by the Great White Snake. After surviving this process, Kabuto gained the ability to manipulate the Sage's chakra, and this made him extremely powerful. His overall powers reached a level where he even referred to his transformation as Dragon Sage mode.
Kabuto was able to dramatically improve all of his jutsu using the power of his Snake Sage Mode. In addition, he could also enhance the power of the Jutsu that came from the Sonic Four and Kimimar, as well as gain control over the surrounding terrain. In addition, all of Orochimaru's abilities were also boosted to sky-high levels. To put his power into context, just look at the fact that Itachi and Sasuke had to combine their power against him. This was easily one of the deadliest sage transformations in the series, especially considering how much Kabuto improved it.

Perfect Toad Sage mode
The perfect form of Toad Sage mode is incredibly strange and only a handful of characters have used this power throughout the Naruto series. The first to fully perfect and master it was none other than Minato Namikaze, who did so at an unknown point in time. The fact that it took him a few seconds to dodge Sage Chakra and enter Sage Mode meant that his speed-based fighting style was disrupted, which also meant that he almost never used it. Usually, Minato's battles were over within a second or two at most, and as such, this Sage Mode was not suitable for him.
His son, Naruto Uzumaki, learned it under Fukasaku and made it one of his greatest abilities. With Sage Mode, overall strength, speed, durability, stamina, and almost every other physical attribute will skyrocket. Most notably, they gain an ungodly amount of chakra reserves from the environment as long as Sage Mode remains active.
Naruto also used special shadow clones that continued to accumulate Sage Chakra for him, which he then dissipated to get a surge of natural energy, boosting his jutsu to a whole new level. He gained such immense power that he was able to evenly fight someone as strong as Nagato, and later Kurama himself. Naruto's sage abilities were undoubtedly immense.

Hashirama's Sage Mode
Among all the sages that Kishimoto introduced in the Naruto series, none had as much expertise as Hashirama Senju. Hashirama's Sage Mode is unique in that he is the only one who can use it. He is most likely from the Shikkotsu Woods and his control over it is such that he can enter it in seconds.
As is the case with all types of Sage Mode, Hashirama cannot move when using this Sage Mode as long as he is kneading the energy, but the fact that he could create giant wooden structures and make them move on his behalf meant that this Sage Mode made him almost unstoppable. With his abilities, Hashirama could easily subdue the Tailed Beasts. He was able to take on even Madara's Kurama in Susanoo with relative ease, and his most powerful jutsu, which saw him create a giant Buddha with a thousand arms, was the pinnacle of his Sage Mode. In addition, Hashirama's strength was almost unmatched, as were his regeneration abilities, which were further enhanced by his Sage Mode, making him the strongest sage in the story outside of the Six Paths.

Six Paths Sage mode
The most powerful Sage Mode in the story is undoubtedly the Six Paths Sage Mode that Naruto awakened in the Fourth Great Ninja War. This is an incredibly dangerous type of Sage Mode that was practically gifted to Naruto Uzumaki by Hagoromo Otsutsuki when extracting Kurama. By receiving the Six Paths Senjutsu from the Sage and combining his Tailed Beast powers with it, Naruto was able to create a unique transformation, called Six Paths Sage Mode. This allowed Naruto to use Senjutsu with immense abilities, strong enough to rival even Madara Uchiha and later Kaguya Otsutsuki. This pushed Naruto beyond all human levels of strength, granting him all five natural transformations, Yin Release, Yang Release, and even Yin-Yang Release, and made him an impossible force to face in battle. Although Hashirama's Sage Mode was powerful, it was nothing compared to the power Naruto Uzumaki had at his disposal in Six Paths Sage Mode.
