REANIMATED it encourages exploration, and some of its most easily missed secrets come in the form of spider-like creatures called critters scattered throughout the game. They are not tied to the main story, but removing them will unlock the masks and the Critter Hit Kill achievement. Because many of these creatures are tucked away off the beaten path or hidden in dark corners, they are easy to miss without a guide. This article breaks down the placement of each creature REANIMATEDwhich will help you track them all in all chapters.
How to get secret ending in REANIMAL (all coffin locations)
REANIMAL's story has a secret ending that players can get by finding all the coffins in the game and also unlock the Friends Reunited trophy.
All creature locations in REANIMAL (Critter Hit Kill Achievement)
They exist a total of five Animals in which players can hunt REANIMATEDeach of which gives players a unique mask to wear on their characters. Here's how to find them all.
REANIMAL Creature Location 1 (Chapter 2: Cleaning House)
Players can find the first creature in the second chapter after arriving in the village. Once you get the Crowbar, you'll eventually get back to the front of the cinema. You will need to head in the direction of the camera before going into the alley, and you will note the boarded up door on the right side of the broken road.
Inside the room you will see a a traffic cone that has a spider-like creature underneath it it. You'll need to use the boy's crowbar or the girl's knife to attack the creature until it's taken down. Players will you will receive a cone head mask by removing the creature in the second chapter.
REANIMAL 2 Creature Location (Chapter Three: After the Flood)
After going through the ship section in the third chapter, players will eventually have to climb a long ladder that will lead to a large field of flowers. Instead of going forward, keep going left of the field until you are see a scarecrow in the distance.
Approach the scarecrow and hit it with a melee weapon. The animal will fall from the scarecrow and you will have to work quickly with it get the Deer Head mask.
REANIMAL 3 Creature Location (Chapter Four: No Shelter)
After completing the bus ride, players will reach the Orphanage in the fourth chapter. Since the front door is locked, you will be forced to climb the ladders on the side of the entrance to get to the top of the building and enter through the large clock. To the right of the room you will have to crouch and walk through the library get to the secret area.
When you're inside the room, you'll find one of the posters on the right wall. However, when you leave the room, you will encounter a running creature. Eliminate the creature in this room get the Bucket Head mask.
Creature Location REANIMAL 4 (Chapter Six: No One Left Behind)
At the beginning of the sixth chapter, players make their way through tunnels and reach a military facility (bunker). You'll need to head through the door on the right to reach the balcony and start the generator to restore power. Here it is a crate with a picture of a fish that you can push away the railing. This is mandatory for the creature to appear.
Once you complete the Secret Bunker section and start descending the ladder leading to the beach, you'll have to go to the far left part of the beach (before interacting with the ship).
Eliminate the creature quickly get the Fish Head mask in REANIMATED.
REANIMAL Creature Location 5 (Chapter 8: The Watcher)
Players will eventually walk through a room with soldiers hanging from poles. After using your weapon to take the key from one of them, head through the door on the right. Once you enter this new area, you will see an oven on the ground that you can pry open the jimmy with a crowbar to release the creature from within.
The critter runs into the pipes leading to the room of the hanging soldiers. Follow the creature back into the room and pick up the weapon to shoot it down. After removing the last creature in REANIMATED Chapter Eight, The Players Will you will receive a mask with a gas head.
After eliminating all five critters, players will do this unlock the Critter Hit Kill trophy in REANIMATED.
