Updated 12 August 2025 Erik Petrovich: There are plenty of items on top, especially when we include numerous new items added to the MESA update. During the game, you can find useful equipment and consumables in lost luggage containers in each biome, or get a special mystical item from an ancient statue at the end of each level. Each item in the game has a purpose (except in the shell), but players are not told how to get each item to the top, let alone each item. This guide has been updated to include a complete list of all consumer, equipment and other items on top, including explanations for each of the six new items that have been added to the MESA update.

How to obtain and use top items

On the site of aircraft crash, players can find several starting items such as lights, compass, lantern, etc. For the most part, beginners will take them into their backpacks and think they are suitable for climbing. In fact, however, many items will only accept your supplies slots. As such, you would rather look for chests for luggage scattered on the island.

Each chest contains random items, including food, tools, medicinal objects and much more. It will significantly increase your chances of reaching the peak, even if you fall several times.
