The final saga of One piece marks the beginning of the spectacular spectacle that every fan has been waiting years for. This part of the story is incredibly exciting to say the least, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what Oda has in store here. At the same time, Oda is going to flesh out almost every major character he's been saving up for years, including the vast majority of the current Yonko order.

This is the part of the story where the most powerful will clash, and that basically means the stakes will be higher than ever before. Some characters will undoubtedly lose their lives in this part of the story, and fans know that Yonko will most likely fall.

The four emperors were first brought up by none other than Garp in the story, and it's safe to say that Oda did a phenomenal job of incorporating them into the story and giving them massive roles as well. During the Water 7 Saga, the Four Emperors consisted of Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, and Shanks. Since then, the order of the Four Emperors has changed drastically. The first Yonko to fall in One Piece was none other than Whitebeard himself. The strongest man in the world attacked the naval headquarters in an attempt to save Ace and was not afraid to give his life in the process. His killer, Blackbeard, eventually took his place among the Four Emperors. After the Paramount War, the Wano Country Arc, which featured a raid on Onigashi targeting Big Mom and Kaido's alliance, was the most significant in terms of Yonko.

On Onigashima, fans saw the worst generation, supported by samurai, ninja, and minks among others, take on the mighty pirates, and they did it in quite some style. Although the Yonko were strong, they were unable to withstand the pressure and eventually disintegrated. Kid and Law, two members of the Worst Generation, were primarily responsible for taking down Big Mom, while Luffy himself carried the heavy lifting in the battle against Kaido.

The outcome is all that mattered and both Kaido and Big Mom ended up falling. Shortly after, it was revealed to fans that those who replaced them were none other than Luffy and Buggy, making the new Order of the Four Emperors consist of Luffy, Buggy, Shanks, and Blackbeard. These are the four powerful emperors right now, and they will influence the Final Saga in ways fans can't even predict at this point.

Why there will be Yonko Deaths in the Final Saga

Yonko are bound to fall in one piece

It is safe to say that the Four Emperors are powerful individuals who cannot be easily stopped. Their power is such that even the Marines think twice about taking them into battle. Fans have seen this over and over in the story, and recently, in Egghead, Oda reiterated that Marines cannot engage in combat with the Emperor unless they get permission. This means that even fighting a Yonk is a task and a half, and killing them is even more difficult. But even so, fans can be sure that some of the four emperors will eventually fall in the Final Saga.

Luffy, being the protagonist of One Piece, is generally safe. He is the one who becomes the Pirate King, and as such cannot die. Luffy must find the One Piece and become the most iconic pirate in the process. He must then fight the World Government and free the world from their clutches. Luffy obviously can't die and therefore shouldn't be included in the conversation.

However, all other Yonko are prone to death. Fans know that Buggy is quite weak and could easily die. But again, the story would gain little from his death. Buggy is here for laughs and exceeds fan expectations. As a result, Oda cannot kill him.

That leaves the fans with Shanks and Blackbeard. Both of these characters have a decent chance of dying in the Final Saga. Shanks may be the strongest One piecebut he is clearly in danger. Unsurprisingly, Shanks will engage powerful foes in the Final Saga of One Piece, which could include Blackbeard or Garling Figarland, perhaps even Ima himself. Any of these characters could spell the end for him, and considering how Shanks is connected to Luffy and what his death would mean for the Straw Hat Pirate, that possibility certainly becomes real.

As for Blackbeard, fans know that he too may fall in the Final Saga. In fact, fans fervently believe that Blackbeard will fall, given that he is one of the biggest antagonists of the Final Saga. At some point Blackbeard will meet his end despite gaining great power and that is also inevitable. As such, there are two emperors in one piece who are most likely to fall in the Final Saga.

The concept of the four emperors is based on the idea that the seas do not have a pirate king, so there are four powerful kings who compete for supremacy in the search One piece. In the event that Luffy becomes the Pirate King, then the Four Emperors will no longer be needed. The seas cannot logically have a pirate king any more than four emperors. Luffy's ascension to the rank of Pirate King would automatically mean that the Emperors no longer exist.

This continues to support the idea that there will be more Yonka deaths. The Final Saga will test every major faction that exists in it One piece to their ultimate limits and will most certainly see many powerful individuals fall in battle, and quite clearly Shanks and Blackbeard are certainly two of Oda's biggest targets.
