This guide is a work in progress – we’ll update it further once we’ve unlocked new houses and home upgrades.

Though you begin with only the one house at your Homestead when you first start playing Fae Farm, throughout the game, you’ll unlock several additional houses as you work through the story and uncover Azoria’s map.

And when you’re ready for a little more space in any of those houses, Aspen the Carpenter in Central Town is your guy. Select “Carpentry Services” and then “Upgrade Home.”

You’ll see a map of Azoria with your various houses highlighted. Select a house to see what you’ll need for its upgrades.

A master of all things woodworking, Aspen can upgrade your house in exchange for both Florin and the material to do so.

Provide him with these things, and he’ll get to work immediately so that your house upgrade will be ready the following day.

As such, Aspen can provide one house upgrade per day, regardless of whether you’ve got the material for more.

When you wake up the next morning, the furniture in your house will still be right where you left it, but you’ll notice a few more squares of space on either side of the room after each upgrade.

As you continue to build up your house, upgrades naturally become more expensive and include more involved numbers of resources as it grows.

If you like how one house is coming out better, or you just want a change of scenery, you can change your default home by simply interacting with your bed.

Choosing a different default means you’ll wake up in the house where your default bed is. Your stats the following day will reflect the coziness of the home in which you wake up.
