It looks as though Deadpool 3: Taylor’s Version could be in the works, that’s if a new TikTok theory is to be believed.
Taylor Swift has been rumoured to be making a cameo in the upcoming sequel as mutant Dazzler.
The character was most recently portrayed by Halston Sage in the notorious movie flop X-men: Dark Phoenix, which ended up losing Fox millions of dollars.
While nothing has been confirmed, Swift’s latest public appearance has once again fuelled the rampant speculation.
While supporting her new man, NFL player Travis Kelce, at the Chiefs game on Sunday in New York, the singer was seen with Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner and Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy.
Fans across TikTok and X, formerly known as Twitter, are questioning whether the game was used as an excuse for a covert Deadpool 3 meeting.
With Swift being tied up with re-recording her masters and preparing for the international Eras Tour dates, some fans including TikToker DemonBane believe the NFL game may have been the only time she was able to spare for a meeting about a potential movie appearance.
Deadpool director Shawn Levy told Entertainment Weekly in September that rumours of a celebrity cameo in the forthcoming sequel are accurate, but refused to specify who.
“The rumours of actors, singers, sports stars who are all apparently in Deadpool 3 are fabulous,” he said. “If all I read was the internet, I would have the greatest cast ever assembled in the history of the world so I’ll simply say that some of those rumours are true, and some of them aren’t.”
Filming of Deadpool 3 came to a halt over summer due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. However, it’s still expected to hit theatres next year.
Meanwhile, Taylor’s been having her time taken up being smitten with her new man, Kelce.
The NFL star is thought to have spent the night at the singer’s lavish apartment in New York City over the weekend.
However, some sports fans are unhappy that the pair have struck up a romance in recent weeks.
Some took to social media to lash out at the NFL coverage being full of Taylor swift references and urged broadcasters to turn the focus back onto the football rather swifties.
