Despite already having seven unique fighters to choose from in Silent Hope, your decision-making goes even further when your heroes begin to unlock new fighting classes. With mid-stage classes enhancing stats and the final class specializing your hero for their own abilities, you’ve got plenty to play with before diving into the Abyss.
New classes for each hero in Silent Hope bring with them not only a costume change and enhanced stats, but a bevy of new hero skills to add to your repertoire as well. The decision on which class to give your heroes can be a tough one!
What Are Classes In Silent Hope?
As you battle your way through the Abyss in Silent Hope, you’ll quickly begin leveling up your heroes and seeing them make tangible progress, able to take on new monsters and perform new skills as you go.
By the time you beat Silent Hope, you’ll have unlocked two new classes for each hero, with each unlocking with different criteria.
- Your heroes’ second class unlocks once they’ve reached Level 15 as you work your way through the Abyss.
- The third class is their last, and it doesn’t unlock until you’ve beaten the final boss.
Your second class always has blanket stat boosts for each hero. All seven of their innate stats are increased upon changing them to their second class, which you should change as soon as it unlocks to make great use of these improved skills.
The third and final class, however, is where your heroes’ individual stats begin to shine brighter than others. You’ll still see changes to every one of your stats, but some stats increase while others decrease, all relevant to each hero’s specialties. For example, the Berserker (the Warrior’s final class) is a tank character and has much higher HP and power, in exchange for a lowered defense and magic resistance to balance her out.
Additionally, each new class unlocks three skills for each hero to use. Once you’ve unlocked a class, you can use the skills from a class when equipped with any of the three classes. You don’t need to use the middle class to use one of its skills, for instance.
Between classes and their stat changes, experiment with what’s right for you with each character to make the best build for each hero in Silent Hope.
